This is one of many recent bad strategic moves by Cruz. He ought to be positioning himself as an anti-establishment candidate for future elections, rather than trying to ingratiate himself to a GOP establishment that by their own admission barely tolerates him.

Cruz is being used by Mitt, Marco, Jeb, and Johnny as an anti-Trump tool; they and the RNC will throw him under the bus when they're done and he's no longer useful. Does Cruz really think that the RNC will pick him in a brokered convention?

Ok, just lock the cabinet and lose the key after all three of them get in there.

If Ted Cruz became president... I would be very afraid of Glenn Beck as secretary of state.

As a Cruz supporter, I think this is a good decision on Cruz’s part. We need to get this race down to a 1 on 1 so that Cruz can consolidate the anti-Trump vote. I also think it is good that Cruz made it clear that his pledge to support the nominee would not apply if Trump goes completely crazy.

Cruz is an opportunist, playing whatever card — now a conservative one, he thinks he needs to play to get ahead.

He can’t cloak himself into establishment fast enough.
I am guessing he is trying to get them to campaign for him because all three of them are going to be so embarrassed tonight.

Cruz has been playing the part of Constitutional American Patriot since he’s been in the Senate. Can the act Teddy, you’re an establishment puke just like those currently in DC who have sold us out.

All three forced Trump to take the pledge to support the Republican nominee. Now that it looks like it’s going to be Trump, all three are hedging on the pledge they took. This speaks volumes about how little character the establishment candidates Rubio, Kasich, and Cruz actually have.

I’d say its a little premature for Teddy to be picking his cabinet. By tomorrow he will be an also ran.

“Of course, I could absolutely see a place for Marco Rubio and John Kasich in an administration. They’re talented, smart, serious leaders.”

Jeez. One stop short of complete capitulation to the Establishment.

I’ve got one foot out the door with that quote, Ted. DAMMIT!

Cruz has is partnered with Glenn Beck and Mitt Romney. He has given Neil Bush a high ranking position in his campaign. Now he said his cabinet will include Soros funded Kasich and Gang of 8 Rubio.

Kasich has some good domestic policy ideas, just not on immigration. Rubio seems to understand foreign affairs, but keep him away from immigration. And if Trump were to murder someone (obviously he won’t), who in their right mind would vote for him?

Well, at least this is something that will never take place. Cruz will not be the nominee.
