Obama cites Cuba, Iran as examples of his ‘principled’ diplomacy

President Obama gave a pep talk to U.S. diplomats Monday, urging them to finish strong as his administration enters its final months, and defending his diplomatic breakthroughs with Iran and Cuba.
There are those who criticize our commitment to diplomacy, for investing so much effort in trying to resolve conflicts that seem intractable, Mr. Obama said during a visit to the State Department in Washington. Heres the truth: conflicts and wars do not end on their own. Breakthroughs dont just happen. Agreements dont write themselves. It takes diplomacy, being willing to sit down with others.
Citing the Iranian nuclear deal, the Paris climate-change agreement and a fragile cease-fire in Syrias civil war, Mr. Obama said the developments are examples of strong, principled diplomacy at work.
Lets keep it going, Mr. Obama said, noting that his administration has 10 months remaining. Lets finish strong. Lets run through the tape.

". . . trying to resolve conflicts that seem intractable . . . It takes diplomacy, being willing to sit down with others. In other words, intractable problems can be resolved by simple surrender. We resolved the Iranian problem by paying them billions of dollars to continue building nukes. We resolved the Cuba issue by starting on their path to communism. To Obama, this is a win. To those who thought the Holocaust was bad and to those who love freedom, it's the biggest loss in history.

Citing the Iranian nuclear deal, the Paris climate-change agreement and a fragile cease-fire in Syrias civil war...That's three strikes right there!
When did the cease-fire in Syria start? The Iranian nuclear deal - great for the Iranians! And climate change? What a joke.

OMG!
Typical Liberal. Take credit for fantasy solutions to problems they created.
Obama is the reason Iran is still working on Nuclear Weapons. Only now, we are giving the $150 Billion for their effort. What did we get out of that deal again? The deal doesn’t even say, “Iran will never get nuclear weapons.”
ISIS? Oh, wait. He didn’t mention Isis did he.
Lybia, Russia, China? Oh he’s doing great.
