Sen. Ted Cruz said Monday that GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump views protesters as disloyal people worthy of punishment and that the best response to Mr. Trump is to defeat him at the ballot box, reiterating his own pledge to support the eventual Republican nominee in the fall.
Mr. Cruz re-upped criticism of Mr. Trump for recently having rally attendees pledge their support to him, likening it to an action kings and queens demand of their subjects.
Its also reflected in his treatment of protesters, where anyone whos a protester is disloyal and must be punished, Mr. Cruz told reporters in Illinois ahead of the March 15 primary there.
The only pledge that I am interested in, the only hand-raising that Im interested in is on January 20, 2017, when I hope to raise my right hand with my left hand on the Bible and pledge to each and every one of you that I will preserve, protect [and] defend the Constitution and fight for the hard-working taxpayers, Mr. Cruz said.

That is a question the voters are asking: At what point do we say enough is enough? Mr. Cruz said. If Donald Trump is the nominee, he is a disaster, and the answer is to beat him.

Hard for me to believe you don't understand the old cloture vote scam. Vote to bring a bill to a vote knowing it will pass then vote against it. Same cr@p goes on in the house as well. The Speaker will bring a cr@p sandwich to a vote and the whip will determine which congressmen are vulnerable and assign them to the no vote list to avoid back lash.
This Trump supporter is glad you are on the side against the radicals and their Uniparty enablers, which includes Cruz.

Keep diggin’ that hole, Ted.
Up until now, Jebby and Linda Graham were shooting the low scores.
Say ‘hi’ to Stabby the Clown.
You may be one of a few lonely voices crying in the wilderness, but you’re placing all your hope in a false tedssiah.
I think the article was edited. That was not at the top when I posted it.
I checked. It was. I still have the tab up from when I posted it. That was not at the top of the article when I posted it. In fact, it wasn’t in the article at all.
That doesn’t change that he also said what the original article posted said.
Kasich is very phony, though. He gave a speech blaming Donald for the violence that erupted.
I’d change that to:
“You went full GOP Establishment. Never go full GOP Establishment.”
Cruz all the way!! Kasich is more conservative than Trump.
“he not only doubled down on his comments but added to them. Cruz seems to be bordering on calling Trump a dictator and seems to be making the protesters sound like victims.”
And here everyone thinking Cruz hanging around Beck was mostly harmless. Who knew crazy was catching? Maybe you have to be genetically predisposed to it or something for that to happen.
No surprise. He also thought Rubio was the new foam boy of GOPe hope.
Don’t forget he basically called Trump supporters low info voters.
Yeah I'll bet you don't like her sense of humor huh?

One of the things that made me turn away from Cruz was his abuse of Christianity. A true Christian would not render onto Caesar what is God's. Cruz did just that with all his talk about strapping on the armor of God and energizing the Body of Christ for his canfidacy.
protesters is a PC polite euphemism for distupters
until there is blood on the floor, there is no way to combat them
the legal system protects them
“Canfidacy” sounds like a new fancy word, but it’s not, it’s a typo instead.
Should be “candidacy”.
Ted’s gone queer
That was exactly my thought when I saw his comment.
Protestors are disloyal?
These are Democrats invading a Republican rally to disrupt it. Where the heck does a loyalty angle come in? He’s talking complete nonsense.
He might as well be standing up there say “blue is faster than Tuesday” for all the sense he’s NOT making.
