Cruz: Trump Is ‘Encouraging People to Violence’ by Telling Supporters ‘Punch That Guy in the Face’
Breitbart ^ | 03/13/16 | Pam Key

Posted on 03/13/2016 11:52:28 AM PDT by Enlightened1

Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” while discussing the recent protests and violence at Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s rallies, Sen. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) said Trump was “encouraging people to violence” and pointed to an instance where he said to “punch that guy in the face” as his proof.

What I have a problem with is him encouraging physical violence against protestors. The protestor who was sucker punched was not attacking anyone, he was being led out by security and a Trump supporter punched him for no reason other than hate.

Where is the evidence for such overwrought assertions? For all we know, the elderly assailant may suffer from dementia or Alzheimer's.

Trump doesn't encourage violence, but he certainly disapproves of bullies.

I don’t blame Trump for Chicago, I do blame Trump for creating an environment where one of his supporters sucker punched a protestor in the face as he was being led out of a Trump event.

Right again, and that's the point Cruz and the other candidates are making.

Was it by invitation only? Kind of an RSVP deal? Or was it published publicly? You know, like a notice in the paper? “Donald Trump Rally at XXX at XXX time”? Inviting any and all that wanted to attend? If you can answer those questions, I’ll be happy to help.

If you don't already know the answers to those questions, then how did you form such a strong determination that the protesters were "only exercising their freedoms"?

I am interested in your how you did this, could you take me through the steps?

Recall how Cruz handled Code Pink attempts to disrupt his rally

These were individuals trying to debate Cruz on general policies.

When Cruz does the same to thousands of BLM and other assorted leftist agitators, get back to me.

Right, under pressure Cruz sided with the left. Trump hasn’t indicated that he wants to beat people up.

Guess you’re another Bot4Bush

Did you look at the video, mr. badass? Trump said in the old days guys like that would be carried out on a stretcher and that he’s like to punch the guy in the face. His supporters have decided to try to carry out his wishes.

Now, go ahead and threaten to punch me in the face.
______________________________________________

I have seen the video. Thank you for proving my point as you correctly stated above he’d (Trump) would like to punch the guy in the face. He never told anyone else to do so.

Do you have a reading comprehension problem or a logic problem.

And I don’t care about your face, for what its worth, enough to punch it. Want to change your face, hire a plastic surgeon.

Just let security take them out.

And that's what was happening, when a Trump follower reached into the aisle and punched the guy. When Trump encourages his followers to attack protesters, even though there is security present, that is just plain irresponsible.

Beck has not been denounced by Cruz for saying he wants to just keep stabbing Trump over and over again with a Knife.

And this loon Beck who should be in a straight jacket is a main endorser of Cruz, not some nameless, faceless, theoretical Trump violent person. Cruz won’t denounce Beck

Fact, no person at Trump rallies has been injured. And most of the protesters were handled by police and facility security.
Trump is right here, and Cruz lies and won’t denounce Beck.

Trump must have had by now over a million people at his rallies, and they have been loud but peaceful. I know I have been at Trump rallies in Vegas.

Wait. Your tag line is this “Political correctness is fascism pretending to be manners.” - George Carlin)” and you say crap like that?

You should look up a term called “cognitive dissonance”.

The mods must be overworked today. I have had posts deleted just for the word D-bag. Plus the comment probably wasn’t aligned with the moderators own slant.

The evidence is buried in a hour long video.

If it was buried, it was his preference for some form of gangbanger action over security.

After this I will NEVER vote for Cruz. He has officially jumped the shark.

I don't believe you ever had any intention to vote for Cruz anyway.

Trump has been irresponsible and provocative by encouraging acts of violence by promising to mitigate financial and legal risk. That is mass subornation!

If he gave legal or financial aid after the fact to supporters who were defending themselves from an attack by a disruptor, that would be kind, noble and praiseworthy.

Not nearly as bad as Beck wanting to just keep stabbing and stabbing, to my way of thinking.

“I can smell the putrid stink of warmed over Bush coming from Cruz, Rubio and Kasich.”

It’s a weird combination of crude oil, greasy Arabs, newly minted greenbacks, and - cabbage.

Thanks! I’m tired of false narratives passed off as truth because one dislikes that particular candidate. Hate Trump? Then do so honestly. Thanks again for standing by me.
