Jabin Botsford has been ordered by Washington Post reporter Ben Terris to cover up a media hoax, we can now report. (Credit for these shocking revelations goes to this Internet sleuth.)
When Michelle Fields was nudged during a Donald Trump press conference, Ben Terris blamed Trump’s campaign manager, Corey Lewandowski. Fields went on the media circuit, accusing Lewandowski of assault. Her accusation was later revealed to be false.
Yet the story goes deeper. The Washington Post is actively covering up the false accusation against Trump’s campaign.

Trump should call the reporter out by name at a rally. Caller a liar and put the exonerating video on his web site. He should demand an apology from Bretbart.

It looks as though Ms Fields says she was roughed up by the NYPD back in November 2011 during a Occupy Wall Street performance, er , protest. There are accounts available of that encounter available on the web.
As far as Allen West goes, Fields and West host a web new program together or did at one time. Not sure of any problem between them.
Nice idea, but he and Lewandowski should simply file counter charges of a false accusation, against WaPo, Fields, Terris and Botsford, and let the courts see all the evidence. Everything the’ve published and unpublished is evidence.

Wait, there is more! Apparently Ms. Fields said West sexually assaulted her. West was fired from the company where he had worked with Fields. Well I don’t know what happened there, but as far as this Trump campaign incident, she’s got nothing.
That makes it defamation of character. Libel and slander with malice aforethought. Corey can hit those deep pockets at WaPo and Breitbart. Let Fields see her future wages garnished and going into Corey’s pockets for the next 20 years to pay a personal judgement.
As Trump said, the press needs to be more accountable.
Jeff Bezos, owner of Amazon, has totally ruined the Washington Post. While the WP always leaned left they used to have journalistic integrity unlike the NYT which has sunk to tabloid status.
And how come I can get 2 of those for $39.95 plus shipping and handling, while the same stuff for a local police department costs about $3,000 per?
Fields seems very immature.
It is clear that this is the brainchild of Ben Terris. This is how I think it played out:
Terris was already working on a story about Lewandowski, and when a journalist has a story, their narrative has been set in their mind. They need material to support the narrative. Instead of following facts and letting the story play out, like honest people, they decide the narrative and then find anything they can that seems to support it. Read Terris’ full article and you’ll see how he’s slapping together flimsy themes of incidents to support his larger purpose.
Terris was in the room near Lewandowski. He had to have been looking for material for his story. The first thing he did when Fields whined was jumped in and pulled himself into the story as a witness. Then he asked if he could use the material, and she said yes.
He baited her, she took the bait, and now the story was in play. At this point she had what she came for: a story of her own, with herself at the center. But she was trapped: Terris was also running with it, and she was locked into the exaggerated (false) version.
Remember that journos and photogs work as teams. They show up at events together and work together to build the narrative with words and pictures. The must agree on that narrative, and photog Botsford’s photo, already published, did not support the story.
I became convinced this was a hoax when I read Mike Cernovich’s piece and he proved how Botsford had botched the hoax by lying, contradicting the lie, then destroying the evidence of the lie when confronted with evidence of the photo proving a lie had occurred.
The very most I can say for Fields is that when Lewandowski brushed past her, ruining her chance to question Trump, he made very, very minor contact as he went by. You can see what looks like him gently supporting her arm or back as he quickly rushes by. She was upset about her loss, whined about it, and Terris was pulled in. Maybe, maybe, the contact was slightly brusque or abrupt or even a solid jostle. But no one ever tried to force her or pull her down. He was moving by too fast for that. We now have video of his rush-by, and her accusation is contradicted by what we see.
Yes, agree on all counts. The legal and money route to stop defamation.
So this is nothing more than a Conspiracy to Deprive a person of their Right to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

Which makes this a Conspiracy to “impede or disrupt the orderly conduct of government business or official functions” and they BELONG IN PRISON, they should have already been ARRESTED.
That’s because H.R. 347, which updated existing protest regulations in 2011, makes it a federal crime punishable by up to 10 years in prison to “impede or disrupt the orderly conduct of government business or official functions” — and that applies to a candidate if they’re under Secret Service guard.
