National Reviews Kevin Williamson believes Donald Trumps appeals to the white working class is immoral because that demographics way of life deserves to die out.
In a featured article for the prestigious conservative journal entitled The Father-Fuhrer, Williamson seeks to rebut criticism that he and other conservatives dont articulate any policies that would appeal to Trumps blue collar supporters.
Williamson, a long-time critic of The Donald, essentially agrees that he doesnt support any policies or rhetoric directly tailored to the working-class particularly about jobs being taken by outsourcing and immigration because it would be wrong to do so.
It is immoral because it perpetuates a lie: that the white working class that finds itself attracted to Trump has been victimized by outside forces, the NR roving correspondent writes. [N]obody did this to them. They failed themselves.
He then goes on to state that all the ills associated with downscale whites are a result of that classs inherent depravity.

That’s about how I imagined him, central: beard stubble, earrings, shaved head/chrome dome, dressed-to-the-nines, pursed lips. He’s prolly a knob polisher too.
We need a new party. Not a reformed party. A new one.
I always look for made in Canada or made in USA when I buy things, especially tools.
I live in a rural area where almost everyone is Caucasian/white, and either an ethnic Latino or Anglo-just about everyone works at a blue collar occupation, college education or not-ranchers, farmers, mechanics, maintenance and construction trades-most of us work for ourselves-I work in construction-Obama’s policies and illegal labor have destroyed our economy. We are all broke, angry-and we all vote...
I’d love to see the elitist, holier than thou sonofabitch author of that article form and pour a slab, frame a house, set tile, install plumbing or electrical lines-or find his way around out here with no GPS-when the SHTF, he and his kind will be just as able to survive as the inner city welfare moochers-and will be just as useless. He needs to shut up...
It’s not the Third Worlders which have those at the economic bottom end to tattoo up, drug up, refuse work, have unaffordable kids outside of wedlock, get on welfare, require all manner of state “services”, lather, rinse, repeat.
We’re tolerating it, and by that we’re encouraging it- like refusing to treat a cancer in the hope that nature will take care of it.
“Does Kevin Williamsons way of life deserve to die out?”
If he thinks his gig at NR is a long term deal, he’s very mistaken. NR is done, just like Ted Cruz!
“But your plumber and the electrician were probably American.”
But probably not for long!
You might, or think you might. The vast majority (99%+) of your countrymen won't.
It looks like Williamson has devolved from his signature pissy minded to shi**y minded.
The Mexican flag was being waived at the recent Chicago attack against Trump. Mexico is Third World and along with the Chinese are in the process of invading the United States. Just go look, you have eyes to see.
“My God, what is wrong with people nowadays? Ive never seen such vitriolic language and behavior, especially against the backbone of America: the white population that actually works and invents things, minds their own business, educates their children, goes to church and believe in The Almighty.”
Another ten years of multi-culturalism and legal immigration and you haven’t seen anything yet. It will start the beginning of white genocide, like in South Africa.
The kind of head perfect for a straw basket.
Don't give them a choice.
I don’t know if National Review considers a plumber working class, but we had a major plumbing problem last week, and we had someone out within an hour fix it expertly. We had a lot of respect for what he was able to do.
There is always a choice. That's the reality of prohibition.
He has brought up the subject of Melania Trump on more than one occasion. One of his diatribes last Fall had a creepy comment about Melania that was awkwardly pointless and out of place... enough so that I noted his byline.
Mr. niteowl77
Well yes. But they aren’t smart enough to think of that as a possibility either.
Everyone an IT worker!
That’s the current mantra.
FUNR
To the Republican elite, it is worse to lose control of the base they’ve repeatedly betrayed - Tea Party small government types, evangelical Christians - than lose yet another election to Democrats.
And they would rather be the comfortably barely opposing party and get kudos for cooperating fully with liberals than fight to save the country.
So, if Williamson is wrong then the right thing to do is leave these dysfunctions to stew in their own juices? Do you not comprehend what he’s saying?
I see no wisdom nor benefit to subsidizing rotting pockets of America. Let them die, and may those who can be salvaged move to where life offers opportunity and hope.
I suspect, though, had Donald Trump suggested it, there would be clapping like trained seals.
In other words it’s the messenger (NR writer, NR endorses Cruz) and not the message.
