Dear Friends,
I got a call from a close friend in Bloomington, where I still have a home. He said they need people to be part of a welcoming committee for Trump’s visit tomorrow morning at the airport.
So, I got a last minute ticket for tonight in Atlanta and off I go.
I don’t know if I’ll be up close, or in the back, or not at all. We will see.
Wish me luck.

I will post a whole bunch of photos when I return. If someone has a cell, I’ll send photos to you. Just put them on my email.

Bloomington is my old turf. Worked 20 years out of a carpenter’s union there, being one of the incognito minority conservatives (Republican) in the local labor org.
Years ago, Eureka vacumn cleaners, moved their factory from there to Mexico. It’s home to ISU, and is State Farm Ins.’s world HQ’S. Firestone had a tire manufacturing plant there... not sure about now? Also- GE, had a plant there making electrical distribution panels... I think it’s closed now.
