I was already unhappy with his statement by then, so I will admit my opinion was colored, but when Cruz trotted out the ‘morning in America’ line, on the very day they laid Nancy down, I cringed.
Breitbart posted video from another angle showing it wasn't Corey, but a secret service agent. Breitbart concedes Corey was nowhere near her, claims "mistaken identity" becomes the agent has similar haircut, even though he's like a lot taller and different looking.

Yep, to Trump and also to the protesters. I really believe they love the spot light as it rallies more to join their insane movement. They have a right to protest outside but never inside. Trump also should tone down his incendiary remarks. That being said, any trouble makers should be arrested and never treated with kid gloves

Just more of the enemedia/Romney/Rubio/Cruz/Bush/RINO/GOPe/Rich-Donor-String-Puller-Class attempts to get Trump at all costs.
I’ve watched the videos and tried to keep an open mind.
In the video he is seen reaching at one point, but there’s no view of what he reaches for.
In an alternate view he is seen well to the left of Trump immediately following the alleged incident, and also seen talking with the checkered shirt guy as they walk along, after the time she is no longer in view.
From what I have read checkered shirt guy is the one who fingered Corey as the guy. Yet at the time she was falling he’s talking to Corey and nodding his head.
I have yet to see a video or still shot that conclusively shows who actually grabbed her arm.
I find that part actually a little odd. There were literally dozens of cameras, many shooting from Trump’s front, where Corey and Ms Fields would be in view behind him. As big a story as this has been, if someone in the press corps had the money shot I think we’d see it. There was also a video camera point directly at them from this side, but nothing from that source.
Take away for me...
Trump is exiting, she pushes in, and someone pulls her back away from Trump.
It’s more than possible she was taken off balance and fell, possibly due to the grab.
However she was not in my opinion “assaulted” - she was moved back from an individual under protection - there’s a difference.
I’d like to know what happened, but it’s far from an act of violence.
At least she wasn’t covering Hillary and walking in shame behind a rope being tended by interns.
Cruz did NOT blame Donald Trump.
Trump certainly has the right to have his rally unencumbered. Equally, the protesters have every right to show up and protest just about as loudly and obnoxiously as they like — as long as it’s peaceful and they don’t try to disrupt.
Now, I will say that I think Trump selected a place for the event that was probably unwise. Another location might have reduced this problem. Having it on the college campus made it way too easy for the protesters to do what they do.
A lot of violence seems to follow Trump. He has personally threatened demonstrators and asked his supporters to punch them out. His campaign manager attacked a reporter simply for asking a question. His supporters have violently attacked minority protesters. But somehow, that has nothing to do with him.
So you can say that something about his campaign is fostering such an environment.
After the events of the last few days, these “conservatives” have earned the name “enemy.”
trump’s enemy....that’s fine. trump’s no Conservative good to be his enemy
