A little under 67 percent of CFOs say Trump will maintain his lead, up from 15.4 percent who picked Trump in December, before the start of the primary voting season. Marco Rubio at 16.7 percent was second, followed by Ted Cruz's 12.5 percent.
On the Democratic side, it remains nearly unanimous, with all but one of the 24 CFOs saying Hillary Clinton will be the Democrats' nominee. The one holdout chose "Don't know" over Bernie Sanders.
Just under 46 percent of U.S. CFOs say corporate tax reform is the most important issue to their companies this election season; 12.5 percent say Federal Reserve policy is the most important issue...
Council members weighed in on a variety of issues facing the global economy, including oil prices and monetary policy...
U.S. CFOs are most likely to say consumer demand (41.7 percent) or cyberattacks (20.8 percent) is the biggest external risk. In Europe, 26.7 percent of CFOs say "emerging markets" pose the biggest risk to their firms, and an additional 20 percent single out China. In Asia, China is overwhelmingly seen as the biggest risk to business by CFOs who responded to the survey.
On oil, most CFOs say prices are still too low. Just under 71 percent say the ideal price of oil for their companies is above $40 per barrel. Only 8.4 percent prefer prices below $30.
Global economic jitters and stock market volatility have lowered expectations that the U.S. Federal Reserve will aggressively raise interest rates this year. One quarter of CFOs say the Fed won't raise rates at all in 2016, while 39.6 percent expect one rate hike.

Current poll numbers -- three-way tie between Jeff Sessions, Ted Cruz, and Chuck Norris.
Wow you’ve been busy
With Cruz meeting with Jeb Bush today shows he is a big GOPe insider, he worked for Bush, Neil Bush of the 1.9 billion dollar Silverado Savings and Loan scandal just indorsed him.
There’s no way Cruz or his spporters can any longer claim he’s an outsider.
My guess is Trump will school them on the Bush meeting.
Oh you know the names Mitch McConnell, Reince Pribus, and Donald Trump never came up. Come on!
Just because Cruznadian the GOPe darling favorites and cubano boy were there, this is nothing...
For starters, politics makes for strange bedfellows. [Charles Dudley Warner] Between Trump and Cruz, they've rope-a-doped everyone else out of the race, with the exception of Kasich (who's been planning to hang on for the Ohio contest, but without a win there will drop out, then endorse Trump IMHO) and Rubio (who's a worse sock puppet than Obama, someone's hand is up his ass, and he lies in two languages). Rubio's been hanging on for thee Florida results, and despite the polling, he probably has a decent shot, depending on what kinds of other stuff goes on. At this point, Cruz might bring more as VP running mate, but if he's to be appointed to the Supreme Court, that's probably even better. The Cruz campaign is probably going to continue the usual pattern of spreading the meme that Rubio's dropping out, so don't waste your vote.
Ditka’s out, Hasselback’s in, at ESPN.
You just know that Bernie Sanders was never in the race for anything except for the laughs. All the oxygen in the Democrat tent was breathed up long ago. They have no bench and no JV team even in the training.
Josef Stalin never gave much thought to his eventual successor either. Because he wasn’t ever going to die.
Are Democrats really that short-sighted?
Herself is ILL, and may not even finish out a full term. Much like FDR in 1944, Herself “can’t give up” the run, just because of failing health. FDR only lived four months, before the whole job was thrown on Harry S Truman, perhaps the least prepared person ever to assume the duties of the office.
It has to be affecting her judgment.
Quibble -- Hitlery won't even start her first term, because she isn't going to be elected. But they've got just two viable candidates (and of course, the fix is in for Hillary), both of whom are really, really white, and geriatric, and rich. She's a habitual liar with no positive accomplishments, except perhaps refinement of her aim, as she spent eight years throwing lamps and ashtrays at Slick. Sanders by contrast wilfully spent most of his life as a slacker.
