I haven’t listened to Rush in years. I’m not rich, I don’t smoke cigarsor play golf. I have to work for a living, deal with illegals and I support Trump

We know that that will never happen because we have been told so many times, that the Establishment has a special hatred for Cruz because he absolutely refuses to play ball with them, except, of course, when it really matters, such as TPA and the Corker bill.

Rush isn’t that delusional, is he? To think that the GOPe is supporting Cruz as an eventual nominee—rather than simply to get them past the first ballot and to their own candidate?

Cruz and Trump ought to get their act together and tear the GOPe asunder.

Cruz has taken in the entire Jeb finance committee, including Neil Bush. Cruz is going to meet with Jeb before the March 15 primary. Cruz used to work for the Bush administration. It was reported that Cruz was soliciting an endorsement by Lindsey Graham. Heidi Cruz works for Golden Sacks.

The stench of warmed over Bush is getting stronger every day.

No more Bushes and no to a Stealth Bush.

If Ted Cruz is to come from behind and win the Republican nomination, it's "gonna take an entire unity effort" to win support from the establishment...

In other words, Cruz needs to sell off what little is left of his integrity.

Interesting conundrum. Do they let Trump get it and pray he loses the general election? Or do they sink Trump then pray Cruz loses the general election.

They are really going to decide based who they think will hurt their down ticket choices the least.

I don’t believe Cruz can win at this point.

I DO believe the Establishment will try to use him to prevent Trump from getting the necessary number of delegates to win on the 1st ballot. If they’re sucessful, they’ll toss Cruz under the bus and attempt to install one of their favorites (Romney, JEB, Kasich, etc).

We’ll see.

there was a big unity effort that got the dubiously conservative Juan McPain and Mittens Romney the republican nominations, as I recall

back to the “hold your nose and vote” appeal to the masses

Sorry Rushbo, I don’t think 3 times is the charm

Sanders is looking like a good checkmate Hillary vote if Trump is off the tab;e

I dunno. There are a lot of us low info knuckle draggers out here who may not understand or fully appreciate some of the finer more sophisticated points of the Cruz campaign. Being uneducated and all, we’re more used to brute force and name-calling. Cruz is learning our ways though. there may be hope for him yet. Call us a few more nasty names and rough us up a little to get our attention. It’s for our own good. All the elites tell us so.

If Cruz is dumb enough to believe the uniparty is behind him he doesn’t deserve the nomination.
