Rush isn’t that delusional, is he? To think that the GOPe is supporting Cruz as an eventual nominee—rather than simply to get them past the first ballot and to their own candidate?

Rush explained that Cruz will never get Trump voters but the anti-Trump forces are greater than Trump. Thus if Cruz unites all the anti-Trump (Kasich/Rubio drop out) that the GOP can put him over the top.

I’m starting to think that even Rush doesn’t get this if he thinks Cruz supporters won’t mind the GOP coming on-board.

He seemed not to even consider that as a thought. The guy who said they were never going to give it to Cruz, but to Kasich had Rush stumped for a response. The truth is that Kasich probably won’t get top billing either. They will bring in Romney or Jeb. Hell, George H.W. Bush has another term of eligibility, bring him back. Bush/Dole.

Rush has gotten caught in his own irrational cross-hairs. For months and months he’s insisted that the Establishment hates Cruz more than it does Trump. Now, even though it’s clear the GOPe is supporting Cruz, Rush still insists Cruz is their biggest nemesis. Huh? So then why... ???? oh never mind. These days Rush’s mind is like a spinning top. The weirdest thing though: he actually seems to think no one is noticing.
