Trump: I'm Going For A 'Knockout' In Ohio, Florida
thehill.com ^ | March 09, 2016

Republican front-runner Donald Trump says he's trying to deliver a "knockout" in the upcoming Florida and Ohio primaries.

"It's like the fighters, that's the ultimate way of doing it," the presidential contender told CNN's Anderson Cooper on Wednesday. "You knock them out, if you knock them out, nothing can happen."

Trump said he believes he can get all of the delegates from the two winner-take-all states that vote on March 15. Florida has 99 delegates up for grabs, and Ohio 66.

"You want to go for a knockout?" Cooper asked.

"I'd rather go for a knockout," Trump responded.

Sweeping both states would make it harder for the billionaire's rivals to catch him in the delegate count.

In a four man race... Trump wins.

If Rubio drops out Cruz will win Florida and Kasich will win Ohio.

I just hope the Open Primaries aren’t an example of Dems pulling an Operation Chaos on us.

I thought of that at first, but feel that it is too consistent across all the states. I believe that the real reason is, as stated elsewhere, that Trump HAS connected with the anger that ALL Americans feel about the way this country is being sold out.

No. Establishment has to stick with Rubio now.

Early voting has taken a lot off the table for a surging candidate to make up ground. All those Rubio early voters don’t get to revote and those votes don’t convey.

“Cruz is going to knock him out in all five states! I predict Cruz wins Florida by at least 20%!”

Does your spouse or maybe your parents let you out in public?

Cruz took on Bush’s brother as part of his campaign and meets with bush, rubio, and kasich.

Outsider?

And Austin Barbour, Haley's nephew, has joined the Cruz campaign. Also, five of Jeb's finance people have joined the Cruz campaign now and are trolling for donations for him. What in the world would the people supporting Jeb have in common with Ted, except they need him for their scorched earth candidate? This is just sad.

“..if Cruz helps Trump in Ohio by attacking Kasich.”

There’s been a bit of speculation on that. IF Cruz does, it’s not because he thinks he can win there, but because he believes he’d be the beneficiary in a brokered scenario. Given his new position as the GOPe darling…maybe.

Trump should give that winery back to the person he and Eric stole it from...

Foolish statement. How did he steal it? Facts needed. Stupid remarks like that shows who you are.

If Trump wins 3/5 states Tuesday it will be successful. These are big states. I predict he will win Florida, NC and Illinois. MO and OH would be icing on the cake. Even if Kasich wins OH, he has no path to the nomination. Furthermore, he stays in and makes it still a three way race. Ted Cruz cannot do well with suburban Republicans outside the Plains and South.

Trump has the nomination. Even if Cruz and Trump go head to head in a two man race after Tuesday...Does anyone honestly think he can defeat Trump in NJ, PA, WV, CT, NY and Arizona

Whatever you do, do NOT bet on any of that...

I’m sure there’s a bookie who’d take his money. ;)
