Ohio Governor John Kasich bests Donald Trump among Buckeye Republicans by a 34 to 29 percent margin. Ted Cruz is third with 19 percent. Marco Rubio trails with just 7 percent.
That’s according to a new Fox News poll of Ohio likely Republican primary voters. The governor’s edge is within the poll’s margin of sampling error.
Kasich is bolstered by positive evaluations of his job performance as governor. He has a sky high 79 percent approval rating among the Ohio party faithful.

I’d rather see a poll under estimating Trump, than one over estimating him. Then when the actual vote takes place, it’s a lot easier to take. UP, makes me happy. Down, well we expected it.

I’m not sure I am buying this poll. Unless some more come out showing this, I believe it must be an outlier.
I still think Trump has the best chance of winning Ohio.
An Ohio loss does not really open any big doors for Kasich. Overall, he’s already done.
But it would open a door for Cruz’s prospects IMHO.
Maybe a slight one...but one nonetheless.

Similar to the way Bernie felt on Tuesday when Fox came out with poll of Clinton 61 Sanders 34 — a 27 point difference favoring Clinton. He was so happy he went to bed for the night and they had to rouse him to go Thank the Michiganders properly for the upset.

Senator Cruz, Democrats love you! Just because Trump beat you like a drum all over the deep south, does not mean Hillary can beat you in the blue states and the purple states! You are going to win CA, NY, PA, IL, and other blue states in November. All you need to do is win nomination. A little bit of cheating is all you need to win nomination! It worked great in Iowa!

I read the polls, but don’t put much stock in them. They have been all over the map this primary season, so I take them with a grain of salt. Here’s hoping for a win in OH for Trump !
