Monday, Mr. T took to Twitter to eulogize the First Lady, who died Sunday in her California home at 94:
I mourn the death of First Lady Nancy Reagan, who was Very Special to me
Not only did she invite me to the White House in December 83, after meeting with her and President Ronald Reagan,
she then asked me to help her with her Just Say No program which I gladly accepted with humility and honor
That was the highlight of my career to be asked to work with the First Family on such a great cause. It wasnt political because...
I am not a Republican nor am I a Democrat
But I am just a Christian Brother from the Hood trying to do some good! I will truly miss First Lady Nancy Reagan....
I will Never Forget her
I will continue her work in trying to keep kids from the Dangers of Drugs. GOD Bless You First Lady.

He’s a bit rough around the edges (especially if angry), but Mr. T is a class act. Considering his upbringing, that is no small feat.
Ya ever notice that Michelle Obama has never done anything for our country like Nancy Reagan did ???
Nancy worked against drugs..
Moochele made school kids HANGRY !
bttt
Love Mr. T.
Love Mr. T.
Very nice.
if she was really interested in the kids losing weight she would have got them to exercise or run around the school or something..
some PE for everyone would have gone further and cost very little...
My inner 80s child is not taking this story without a little choking up.
Kids today just dont know how lucky we were to have a decade full of people like these to be out role models.
Aww that’s sweet.
I have long known Mr. T was much more of a classy gentleman than his TV and movie roles, but his tweets today confirm that even more than I suspected.
God bless him.
Lovely! A good man.
More class than the White House resident!
Excellant point Nana ....... fat little linoleum lizard gamers need to move more ! They even have PE or recess any more ?
Very Classy!!
I remember when I saw Mr. T in Rocky III, he intimidated the Hell out of me. But then, as he said, you got to see the other side of him. A committed Christian who wanted to help his community by trying to keep kids away from drugs. He is such a good example in comparison to a lot of the black entertainment “role models” that we see today.
Ping
Mr. T shows what it’s like to be classy.
