No, in all seriousness, I’m just weary of all the vitriol these past few months. I’m a Cruz supporter but will vote Trump if he’s the nominee, rather than let Cankles further destroy our nation. I’m ready to see FR start pulling together. There’s still plenty to mock about both candidates (plus Rubio and Kasich), I just want to see it stay above the belt, I guess.
To me, your post wasn’t as bad as the anti-Cruz one I reported last night, BTW. You just never know who’s reading the threads or how it will hit them at that moment.

In reflection I suspect you are right. And that walks us up to an uncomfortable question: In the GOP POTUS sweepstakes is vitriol all we have?
The Sewell editorial saddened me deeply as he too seems to have only that as well.
I can take chastisement — outright deletion is a bit of an overreaction: “I doth not like the way that eye looks at me — remove it from his head.”

The fact is, Ryan is.
Unless he is not reelected which seems to me unlikely, he is a factor to be reckoned with. That is reality.
The failure of conservatives is the inability to cope with reality and then go forward
