EAST LANSING, Michigan --- Donald Trump continues to lead by 22 percentage points going into the Tuesday Republican Presidential Primary Election in Michigan. Trump (42%) has dropped 5 percentage points since our last poll Thursday night before the FOX News Channel debate in Detroit, but still is ahead of Ohio Governor John Kasich (19.6%) who gained 6%, Texas U.S. Senator Ted Cruz (19.3%) who gained 5%, Florida U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (9%) who lost 6%, and Dr. Ben Carson (4%) while 1% is voting for someone else and 5% are undecided according to the latest Mitchell/FOX 2 Detroit - Michigan Poll.

Rubio is as close as he will ever get to the presidency. I don’t see him throwing in the towel prior to Florida without some big promised by someone. Even then, it’s too late to keep his name off the ballot. They are already printed.
Yeah, yeah, I’ve been hearing that for 8 months.
Prediction: Trump will win.
By the way, Santorum won Louisiana 4 years ago. Huge concentration of evangelicals there. It was a must win for Cruz.

Yes we are. And most everyone I met yesterday out and about is voting Trump.
Trump needs to get poll watchers in to watch the GOP in every polling place. They are pulling dirty tricks because now all of a sudden the pre-polling and exit polling are NOT matching up as close as they should be with the actual vote. They’ve figured out they can’t beat him fairly in the vote so they’re rigging the game.
If they are getting attack AD’s like we are in FL by the establishment, Cruz, Rubio then it doe snot surprise me.
Cruz is being backed by the establishment and once Cruz does their dirty work they will stab him right in the back.
Sad art is that Cruz is so desperate now to take Trump that he has become part of the establishment to take Trump out.
If Rubio drops out, he will not be able to compete in a brokered convention.
I doubt that anyone else will get out.

Just said the same to the poster.
Cruz is so desperate that he is part of the establishment now and is spreading the same lies as the establishment. Why Cruz voters cannot see he is being used is beyond me and if Cruz is so smart like we were told then he should see this, but it seems Cruz is so fixated on Trump he has not seen the bigger picture.
Why do you have to throw out the insults about him. it adds nothing to the debate and this website?
Kasich is surging.
Like M,E where 12% of the precincts were reporting in and then nothing for well over an hour. The all of a sudden they released the winner.
The non establishment voters are being ripped off and attacked and it seems Cruz is now fine with being with the establishment.
He’s leaving the senate, so he did not like that. The only way to embellish his credentials would be a governorship, a cabinet post, or the VP slot.
Like you say, he’s not going to get the nod if there is a brokered convention.
Here in Michigan, folk are not so easily swayed. They can advertise all they want.
But Marco won Puerto Rico! He's "surging," according to Fox News!
Who knows, Rubio may still get to be President one day after all, of Puerto Rico, if it ever gains independence.
Can anybody in Michigan report in on whether Trump is running ads in that state? Other than an Instagram, I have never seen a Trump ad on TV nor heard of one anywhere. I know that there is a barrage of anti-Trump ads being run and Trump needs to counter this in some way in my opinion or he'll keep losing ground.
“The professionals and adults are taking over”
The professionals? Career politicians?!
So basically you are cheering on the GOPe puppets because they don’t upset your tummy. Isn’t that just special.
You simps screw up this revolution, and you will be real lonely at the voting booth in November trying to get Jimmy Swaggart Cruz (or more likely Romney) over the finish line.
They have nothing else to run on.
That’s why. They just show up and shout “go Cruz” and give barely veiled kudos to Romney and the Gope.
They all seemed to have dropped the whole “Cruz is going to save the constitution” boilerplate. They just want to save the establishment at this point so they can get a VP slot.
