In the Kansas Republican caucus, very early returns have Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas in the lead. With 3 percent of the results in, Cruz has 53 percent of the vote, followed by Donald Trump with 21 percent, John Kasich with 15 percent, and Marco Rubio with 10 percent. The Kansas Republican Party released a statement earlier Saturday, saying turnout across the state was "incredible," with some locations reporting "four of five" times the number of voters who came out in 2012. Republicans are also caucusing today in Kentucky and Maine, and holding a primary in Louisiana.
Well, I looked pretty hard the last two nights about Cruz. He has Bush generational people on his team. More on that later.
The thought then came to me today: Cruz argued for W before SCOTUS and worked the case in FL. (2000 election). No matter what W says, he OWES Cruz. W may not prefer Cruz, but he’s indebted to him.
Why have 1 Bush in the race, when you can also command Bush2? Call it plan B.
I know that and I know that the stakes are high enough right now that any advantage will be taken. We are witnessing a life or death struggle. Cruz needs Kansas.
You’re choice, but he’ll make an excellent President!
Speaking of oneself in the third person is abhorrent to me. Trump does it all the time and I cringe.
18%, Cruz still at 50% but Trump up to 25%. Rubio 14%
Kansas is a Conservative state. :). God bless them.
Go Cruz!
I love my state, especially at times like this.
As democRATS rarely are up before noon (2:00 on weekends) their caucus started at 3 and ends at 8:00 pm.
No ballots for them. Just stand on the side of the room marked for your candidate and pray you get counted - twice!!!
Everything today is proportional, per RNC rules set before the season started.
I wish I believed it. There is something not trustworthy in trump. He is sneaky which is not a good trait.
17%
Cruz 50%
Trump 25%
Rube 14%
Kasich 9.6%
Under 10% gets no delegates.
Not so sure about that. The anti trump vote is gathering steam and they are all closed primaries.
Freudian slip?
CRUZ WILL LOSE THE GENERAL ELECTION IN A LANDSLIDE. He is not strong enough to withstand the onslaught.
[Teddy the Tpp traitor fits right in here]
Funny I saw TRUMP supports walking out on CRUZ. No class.
You have good reason to be proud.
Early Maine numbers:
4.5% in
Ted Cruz 49.8%356—
Donald Trump 30.8%220-136
John Kasich 10.5%75-281
Marco Rubio 7.6%54-302
All Others 1.4%10-346
And it took the Fox news, CNN, Rubio, Cruz, Romney, Dole and other losers to get you that...
Want some cheese with that whine?
