So that makes it right or ok? I also think one needs to be careful comparing Trump to the founding fathers. I do not think Trump would pledge his life, sacred honor, and property to anyone or anything.

Which begs the question, which candidate or politician on the current stage would do it?

None.

"So that makes it right or ok?"

No, it was already right and OK.

You're confusing 'distasteful to me' with 'morally wrong'.

This is the fundamental narcissism of both the anti-trump-because-i'm-better-than-him crowd AND the capital C Conservatives.

You miss that it's YOU who are the lemmings, not the Trump candidacy supporters. You live in a collective hypnosis just like the democrats, it's just a slightly different hypnosis.

Wake up!!!! I'm not talking about 'wake up' to the political corruption or 'wake up' to the badness of the GOP. I'm not saying 'wake up' and love Trump.

I'm just saying 'wake up'. You are living in a hypnosis. I don't care what you do after you wake up. Just do it. Stop listening to the droning on of your mind as if it's an authority. I know you mean well, but you can't do well so long as you are following the echo chamber reverberations going on in your noggin.

He's already done just that. He has everything to lose and nothing to gain for himself by running for president and becoming a target from all sides. What have the other candidates risked? They have everything to gain and nothing to lose.

"I do not think Trump would pledge his life, sacred honor, and property to anyone or anything."

So apparently you have a back channel to the Secret Service and can assure us no credible threats have been made against Trump. It's good to know that, because Trump would appear to be making some pretty powerful enemies, both domestically and internationally. Furthermore, should Trump be sworn in as POTUS all of his fortune would be put in a blind trust to be managed independently by a third party. Would you be willing to do the same?

“do not think Trump would pledge his life, sacred honor, and property to anyone or anything.”

And yet you, here, behind your self-righteous keyboard are fit to pass judgment?

Hahahaha

I also think one needs to be careful comparing Trump to the founding fathers.

It's already been done.

This is an ongoing list of historical, popular, and Biblical people, as well as fictional characters and animals, that Donald Trump has been compared to on FR:

He wears a bullet proof vest under his jacket every day.

He has opened up himself and his family to incredible abuse but they agreed that it was worth it. Melania has spoken of this recently.

He has risked some depreciation of his business but it's so substantial that I think this is the least of the three.

He already has, something Cruz hasn't.

Since he is willing to self fund and to be paid only one dollar a year to be president you are obviously wrong

You don’t think he already has? Just by standing as a candidate his whole business empire is on the line say the combined republican/media/democrat establishment manage to stop him becoming President what kind of revenge do you think those in power will try to inflict on him?

What you guess Trump will do and what Trump does are not necessarily the same. Opposition to Trump seems to be based completely on emotional reactions to hysterical perceptions.
