During the Friday broadcast of his radio show, Glenn Beck said that if he were present at Thursday nights Republican debate, and had a knife, he would have stabbed Donald Trump.
I dont know what I would have done if I was sitting in Cruz or Rubios shoes, Beck stated. I cant say it that way. If I were on the stage, I would have said, have you been listening to him tonight? Have you been listening to what I say about him? I believe these things.
If I was close enough and had a knife, the stabbing just wouldnt stop.
The Secret Service has not responded to TheDCs initial inquiry on the matter.
Bttt
Wow. He’s out of control.
Agreed. He should be fired.
I watched the video. Honestly, I am not familiar w/the format of Glenn’s TV show and I don’t follow his radio show; so I am not aware of whether he often jokes about violently assaulting his subordinates. If that is the case; then his explanation seems believable.
I have already stated that I can accept the fact that Glenn’s remarks could be interpreted either as directed towards Trump or Stu (particularly the audio; which was all I had as evidence initially).
The real question in my mind is whether Glenn created this controversy intentionally or whether it was just an unfortunate juxtaposition of unrelated remarks. For all Glenn may or may not be; he is a very intelligent man who is skilled in self promotion and the use of mass media; so, I am inclined to think that this was a stunt to draw attention to his show. If that was the case then he is travelling a very irresponsible and dangerous road. I will leave it at that.
So you would agree that Trump employing illegal Polish immigrants in the construction of Trump Tower to avoid hiring union labor and making contributions to pension funds brings his commitment to stopping illegal immigration into question? If so, you would also agree that, in claiming to be self funding his campaign, he’s lying because he is accepting private contributions to his campaign. Likewise, you have no problem with Trump stating in April of 2011 that Bush is the “worst president in American history”, that Hillary would make a great president or vice president and that Obama is a “superstar” - in his own words: http://www.escapetyranny.com/2011/04/14/trump-called-bush-worst-president-in-history-praised-obama-and-hillary/
If not, you’re deflecting; deflecting, disavowing and dismissing anything that he has ever said or done that would bring his sincerity into question.
I can’t argue that fact. Beck’s endorsement may have helped Cruz in Iowa, but I suspect it’s hurt him elsewhere. I would like him to disavow Beck’s comments about stabbing Trump, but, that being said, Cruz can’t control the idiocy that comes out of Beck’s mouth.
JimRob says CPAC has gone leftist in their marriage agendas.
So, yeah, I guess avoiding them doesn’t hurt.
