During the Friday broadcast of his radio show, Glenn Beck said that if he were present at Thursday night’s Republican debate, and “had a knife,” he would have stabbed Donald Trump.
“I don’t know what I would have done if I was sitting in” Cruz or Rubio’s shoes, Beck stated. “I can’t say it that way. If I were on the stage, I would have said, ‘have you been listening to him tonight? Have you been listening to what I say about him?’ I believe these things.”
“If I was close enough and had a knife, the stabbing just wouldn’t stop.”
The Secret Service has not responded to TheDC’s initial inquiry on the matter.
Beck has had good programming before but it is such a needle in the haystack thing, one has to put up with all of his clowning around and so on.
But this is just intolerable and unacceptable.
Just imagine what the Dems will do with this latest Beck threat, if Cruz got the nom.
Can’t believe Cruz hasn’t spoken out against this yet.

If you think the Dems would defend Trump from a stabbing, you have no idea what onslaught they have in store for him in the general.
He is inciting and he knows perfectly well the dog whistle he is blowing.

I know a lot of people don’t believe it, but GOD guides history and thwarts the plans of wicked men. Not always, not every time obviously, but faith knows there are a multitude of evil acts He HAS thwarted.
I remind myself of this at times like these that you described very well above.

Listening to the entire thing, he wasn’t threatening anyone, he was joking with his producer.
You people are as bad as the ‘drive by’ media and the whole ‘gotcha’ crap.

The old “plausible deniability” ruse. Cruz needs to “can” Beck before he does even more serious damage to Ted’s credibility.
I’m not a GB fan at all and I think you’re right that it was directed toward Stu. I’ve heard him say similar things before.

That remark was a playful dig directed at Beck. Beck had just said something about sitting in shoes, and his associate was saying that you don't sit in shoes.
So, yeah, Beck's knifing remark sure could have been directed to the associate. Still this needs to be officially investigated, IMHO.
“the stabbing just wouldn’t stop” - a fair question that should be asked is, regardless of the target, who talks like that anyway? It's sick, and Cruz had better get away from Beck as fast as possible.
“Crickets” as CPAC remains silent and refuses to disavow Glenn Beck. Folks, we do not need their kind of conservatism. Not a peep on the internet from them, not one!

If Stu was talking about Beck being in someone’s shoes onstage (i.e. in ted’s shoes at the event), and then Beck said that he (Beck) was going to stab the other guy (Trump) on stage, then that indeed is a threat by Beck to Trump!
