"Megyn Kelly asked about highly-skilled immigration. The H-1B program is neither high-skilled nor immigration: these are temporary foreign workers, imported from abroad, for the explicit purpose of substituting for American workers at lower pay. I remain totally committed to eliminating rampant, widespread H-1B abuse and ending outrageous practices such as those that occurred at Disney in Florida when Americans were forced to train their foreign replacements. I will end forever the use of the H-1B as a cheap labor program, and institute an absolute requirement to hire American workers first for every visa and immigration program. No exceptions."
Trump used legal workers in his resort: Fact.
Marco & Ted did nothing to change the immigration laws to prevent this: Fact
Now, who's at fault?
Let the two Cubans whine and moan about something they could change.
Now, go play with your crayons and coloring books.
I sure understand that sentiment. I’m beginning to feel that way myself because not only have I watched pretty much all the debates, I’ve also watched most of the rallys, too. It’s beginning to feel like a job!
With that in mind, I reluctantly watched tonight’s fox debate and found it very informative. Most of the time, most of the candidates behaved themselves. Only a couple of scuffles between Trump and Rubio and Rubio started those, not Trump, neither did Trump back down.
This particular debate brought out more of Kasich, and I’m thinking I like him, but NOT for president. He most definitely should have a role in government in DC if that’s what he wants, and I think he’d be a steady hand and good advisor to President Trump. He actually seems to be respectable and level headed. Prior debates almost ignored him, but now that the field is smaller, he’s being heard more. I would vote him as a second choice. I think he’s much better quality than either Rubio or the other guy...Cruz. I think he’s much more truthful than any of the other candidates, including my first choice, Trump. He’s also got legitimate accomplishments as a politician.
In general, this debate was more amicable than prior debates, and consequently, more informative. Trump even kept his head and guarded his tongue more than usual. He even had folks really laughing with regard to his ‘’hand’’ size even as he assured the crowd that all works well. That was funny. Little Rubio didn’t like it one bit since he provided the the ammunition for that bit of fun, and no matter Trump’s ‘’hand’’ size, Rubio is still....little :)
You did miss a good one this time around.
has trump evolved his position again???
Rubio and Cruz are out of time. John has all the time in the world. Thats the difference.
Note: This position only applies for the next 15 minutes and on alternate Tuesdays.
Excuse me. I said I did not watch the debate.
I know the difference between many of the work visas.
I chose not to watch Fox News. Gave it up for lent.
And Trump has done nothing to stop it.
Do you have a candidate that you support?
He said talented people and one in Silicon Valley. So who is he talking about? What VISAs?
Too late lol
Oh quit your bellyachin’
They did it to Cruz in the last Fox debate.
Unless you can prove that Trump could fill those temporary positions with American workers, which you can't, you're just buying into the tripe that Rubio is feeding you.
I chose not to trust a guy that wants to flood our borders with illegals, can't pay his bills on time & doesn't show up to work.
You can side with Rubio, I'll side with the guy who has actually accomplished something in his life.
H-1B ping
Outside of the fact that he is the reason it's burning on the stove, you're right. He has NOTHING to do with it.
He issued a press release to make sure everyone knew where he stands, however, he has his positions on his website

This policy has been there for months. It states:
“Increase prevailing wage for H-1Bs. We graduate two times more Americans with STEM degrees each year than find STEM jobs, yet as much as two-thirds of entry-level hiring for IT jobs is accomplished through the H-1B program. More than half of H-1B visas are issued for the program’s lowest allowable wage level, and more than eighty percent for its bottom two. Raising the prevailing wage paid to H-1Bs will force companies to give these coveted entry-level jobs to the existing domestic pool of unemployed native and immigrant workers in the U.S., instead of flying in cheaper workers from overseas. This will improve the number of black, Hispanic and female workers in Silicon Valley who have been passed over in favor of the H-1B program. Mark Zuckerbergs personal Senator, Marco Rubio, has a bill to triple H-1Bs that would decimate women and minorities.
Requirement to hire American workers first. Too many visas, like the H-1B, have no such requirement. In the year 2015, with 92 million Americans outside the workforce and incomes collapsing, we need companies to hire from the domestic pool of unemployed. Petitions for workers should be mailed to the unemployment office, not USCIS.”
Ha, I was about to ping you. Trumpist be burning the midnight oil.
Did you also believe Bill Clinton when he said, 'I did not have sexual relations with that woman?" Because that was a lot more believable than Trump on this.
