Donald Trump on Thursday night said he's changing his stance on visas for highly skilled immigrant workers.
"Im changing it, and Im softening the position because we need to have talented people in this country," Trump said at the Fox News GOP debate in Michigan.
Trump's comments came after debate moderator Megyn Kelly raised the issue. Kelly noted that Trump had previously opposed those visas, saying they "decimate American workers," but appeared to change his position at an earlier CNBC debate. Trump said recipients of the visas go to high-profile U.S. universities and "desperately" want to remain in the country. He said they should be allowed to stay and work in places that need high-skilled workers, such as Silicon Valley.
"We need highly-skilled people in this country," Trump said. "For that purpose, we absolutely have to be able to keep the brainpower in this country."
Cruz has flipped on immigration...so, there’s that.
Lol...ouch!
HAHA, the Trumpeters beat on Cruz for months for saying this claiming Trump would NEVER do this, but now its OK cause TRump says its OK,
Plus it helped Trump will those states gullible ‘GOP’ voters believed him.
Trump is so predictable to me I often wonder if I live in the Twilight Zone where all BS from Trump is believed.
Trumpeter says he doesn't care about this new development:
Steve Jobs infamously changed his mind on an issue as he inventoried his thoughts.
Politicians infamously change their minds on the issues depending on who is listening to them at a given time.
The shortage every politician including Trump wants to fix is actually our lack of veggie pickers, maids, and the dirt cheap illegal workers real estate developers want to violate state regulations in the dark of night so construction can begin ...with no pesky American born, English speaking whistleblowers slowing things down just because they have a conscience and spot something unlawful.
Don’t be (or remain) a dick.
This is Yuuuuuugeee!
Except wanted to increase the visas by 500% (??) Is that the right number?
Trusting a politician is like petting a porcupine.
We have too many skilled workers:

Cruz is as wrong on this as is Trump.
Cruz does still stand on his 500% increase, but may change that after his 180-day review period.
I think I have a good feel on Trump’s positions:
We need foreigners to do the jobs Americans don’t want to do.
We need foreigners to do the jobs Americans are too stupid to do.
If/when DT gets the GOP nomination, I think a lot of people are going to be surprised by his “turn toward the center” (left turn) for the general election.
And set the minimum salary at 110K/year so they couldn't use them to replace American workers just to save money.
Cruz on the other hand...wants a 500% increase in H-1Bs.
We need foreigners to vote for the politicians Americans aren't stupid enough to... yet.
We need foreigners to vote for the politicians Americans aren't stupid enough to... yet.
Trump wins huge again!!! 70% 0nline pols. Rinio 5%!! Trump wins!!!
