Radio host Glenn Beck is urging GOP presidential candidates Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio to team up to oppose Donald Trump.
Beck called for a ticket of “Ted Cruz for president, Marco Rubio as vice president,” on his radio show Wednesday, according to The Blaze. Beck has already endorsed Cruz for president.
“They should announce this and run with this. This should go all over the Internet. I think this is doable, and this is absolutely unstoppable.”
Beck said the candidates would have to commit to joining forces before Florida's primary May 15 to have a chance to stop Trump.
“Florida, they would win,” he said. "But if they don’t do it before the Florida election, then we lose it to Donald Trump. And all those delegates go to Trump.”
The radio host laid out a plan for other prominent GOP figures to align themselves with a Cruz-Rubio team.
“Say our Supreme Court nominee is Mike Lee,” Beck said, suggesting the Utah senator as a replacement for the late Justice Antonin Scalia.
“Rand Paul is going to be Treasury secretary. Ben Carson, we’re going to back you with everything we have to take Rubio’s Senate seat. How is that not a win for absolutely everybody?”

And how much you bet this fool will still be appearing on-stage with Cruz?
Is Ted gonna refute this and rebuke Beck, or is he cozy with the idea of being a Gope Agent?

I was so much for Cruz until lately .
I then thought maybe the courts, but I don’t even know about that now.
When I see someone sucking up the establishment when he ran outside the establishment then it pisses me off.
Joining the open border establishment and Rubio made me rethink about him.

“OUR” Supreme Court nominee? Does Beck have a seat at Cruz’s table?
I never thought that and thought he was a man of conviction , but these last few weeks it seems he has shown he is not.
Fool some people all the time.
Fool all the people some of the time, but can’t fool all the people all the time and this applies to Ted for me.
It has been quite an eye opener these last couple of weeks.
As if anyone needed more proof that Beck is insane!
If Cruz doesn’t repudiate this idea, Ted should find work that’s more honest, like selling meth to teenagers.
I don’t see a path forward to relevance for Glenn Beck.
This is pure fantasy. If it did happen, Trump would have every right to run an independent or third-party campaign. The GOPe hates Trump, but it knows that Beck's idea would lead to a devastating schism within the party. It would be the Democratic Party's and Hillary's dream come true.
Too late, IMO.

Rubio hates the Senate. Both he and Cruz don’t even show up.....except to collect their paycheck. Wow...just like our welfare folks.
Glenn Beck is a total disgrace. He has adopted the left-wing tactic of calling anyone who disagrees with him on anything a “racist” or “Nazi”. In 2008 he said that he would vote for Hillary if McCain was the nominee (before 0bama), and he has said in 2016 that he would vote for Hillary if Trump got the nomination.
Why anyone gives this turd any credence whatsoever is beyond me.
But, Cruz is cozier with Rubio than he is with Trump right now. Said he and Rubio were better candidates and would make a better president than Trump. That sounds to me like he would back Rubio, and his open borders policy. Never trust a politician. NEVER!
And, yet, Cruz keeps letting him campaign for him. What to think?

Thanks for being honest. That's more than we get from Cruz and his supporters on FR. If I don't see ya before Trump wins the nomination and you get zotted, well, it's been real.
