I tuned into Rush today just to see how long it would take for him to make the point I predicted he’d make. That is, that Trump has indeed expanded the Republican Party as he’s claimed he’s done. Took 50 minutes.
All we heard after the butt-kicking the GOP took in 2008 was how if they didn’t expand the party (e.g. more Hispanics, more women, more younger people, etc) the party would never win another Presidential election.
Well, Trump has done it, even Rush has admitted it. But of course the GOPe didn’t want a usurper to do it, so now Trump must be stopped. Huh?? Why must the man be stopped who accomplished exactly what they wanted?
Because of course Trump threatens their entire power base. They want to win the Presidency but not at the cost of losing their control and power. So now they’ve got a problem...but as we know from past attempts, when the GOP really puts it’s collective effort into something...if fails miserably every time.
Yes. Rubio is a low-life. Can’t wait for him to lose Florida. I wish this whole season was over with.

Rush is an ongoing experiment as to whether a NWO Free Trader and can also be a Nationalist Patriot. My opinion is no, the two are not compatible.

Well, over 20 billion dollars a year is sent via wire and Western Union from the United States to Mexico. That is cash money that the US government never sees in the form of taxes or expenditures within the states.
How about we impose a 10% tax on money wired into Mexico from the US? That is a darn good start.

Trump will win New York over Cruz. This is because it’s his home State, and nothing to brag about.

Now that this has been said several times on this thread already, I would like to point out to you the effect that trump is having on not only the republican party base, but the conservative alliances that were developed over a long period of time.
I note that the spokesmen for conservatism, people like Rush and Levin who spend their entire careers teaching listeners what Conservatism means and is, are now under attack and being totally dissed by the trump fans...
Thus, Trump is doing untold damage to the conservative movement. When all this is over, the movement will be much, much smaller and have little or no effect on the politics of this country.
For me, a guy who has spent most of his life walking and talking the conservative life, I find this to be heartbreaking, but on the other side of the coin I understand that it is a symptom of a larger problem, or better said....Social Disease.
A disease I fear that cannot be treated.

Rush is delusional if he think last night was a bad night for Trump.
If he was reading what someone else said, they said it right? It’s news. It is out there. Whether or not RUSH believes it is irrelevant if it is in the news.
And it IS in the news. Get on Twitter. See what the GOPe say. They are totally throwing in with Cruz, not Trump. They think Cruz can easily be brushed aside or ignored. Not Trump.
