Trump needs to win 1,237 delegates to secure the Republican nomination, and with four other candidates vying for the same, University of New Orleans political scientist Edward Chervenak said the state's primary is particularly important this year.
“With Cruz, Rubio, Carson and Kasich still in the race, they’re basically taking delegates away from (Trump). So every delegate now counts and is at stake. That’s why Trump is coming here, because he wants to do well in Louisiana,” Chervenak said.

Trump’s biggest rivals, Sen. Marco Rubio and Sen. Ted Cruz, don’t currently have any appearances planned in Louisiana. Chervenak said neither are campaigning heavily in the Bayou State.

I hope Trump is unstoppable. Trump is our only hope to stop the illegals invasion of the U.S.A. that will turn the U.S. socialist as immigrants vote for socialism(Read Ann Coulter’s book).

Cruz has done nothing to stop the invasion of socialist 3rd world illegal immigrants that will turn the USA socialist. If Cruz were really a conservative then he would have done something to try to stop the invasion as he has been a Senator for years . But Cruz has tried to pass no good laws that help America but only the worst laws ever TPA TPP(Trojan horse for Obama immigration agenda) and the corker bill .
The Club for growth an open borders lobby is running ads for Cruz . That’s another Clue. All this is on Google and more. Cruz is not a conservative but is putting on an act to get rich.
Cruz voted for the Corker bill which allows Iran to build nuclear weapons.

Normally, here’s how treaties work: the President negotiates a treaty with another country, like the deal he is negotiating with Iran over its nuclear weapons development. Once the treaty is negotiated, it’s submitted to the Senate. Two thirds of the Senate has to vote to approve, or ratify, the treaty. If two thirds do not support it, it is not binding.
But the bill the Congress sent to the President turns things on its head. It will allow the President to lift sanctions on Iran, and unless Congress objects with a 2/3 vote within 30 days, the President’s actions are allowed to stand. See the reversal? Formerly, the President needed a 2/3 vote to act, and now the Congress needs a 2/3 vote to stop him from acting. And be assured the Democrats will never let the Republicans get that many votes.
Cruz, Rubio and Paul fought this measure procedurely, at first... but then voted for it on final passage. Totally inexplicable. And totally wrong, from a policy and constitutional perspective.
I dispute that but I'm coming to the realization that Trump maybe our last chance for real, ball busten' change in the sewer of DC.
Trump cannot be controlled {both good and bad} and I have no doubt that he will build the wall, and Mexico will pay for it {it is simple math, it only takes political will, and someone that is beholden to no special interest group}.
There are many things that Trump says that require political will and leadership, that someone that has been bought and paid for simply will not be able to do.

I agree with what you say about Trump. That is hitting the nail on the head. But Cruz is a fraud and bought and paid for.
Cruz hasn’t lifted a finger to stop the illegals invasion , build a wall ,nothing good only voted for the worst 2 laws ever TPA TPP and the Corker bill ( and no one can dispute this fraud made Iran Nukes possible and that that is 1 of the 2 worst things ever for America ,proof is here in these links :

Trump is the presumptive nominee. Look for a flood of endorsements from the late to the party crowd and look for the GOPe to get on the train.
If the GOP didn’t have the intestinal fortitude to fight Obama, they will not fight the inevitable. They are basically wimps, they will get on the train to save their skin.

Don't be too sure of that. McCain and Romney were designated losers, propped up when Huckabee then Santorum were gaining traction. They showed us in 2008 and 2012 that they'd rather have a designated loser acquire the nomination than to lose their power base to us voting fodder.
There's a factor here the puppetmasters may not be considered in their arrogance. Cruz gained support because he had people fooled. He's no principled conservative and he isn't opposed to cheap labor sources for his deep pocket donors. I wonder how many Cruz supporters would follow marching orders and go to Rubio. My point....they may not have the power to tell us little folk who to vote for anymore.
