Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) says the Republican Party may be forced to support presidential hopeful Ted Cruz in order to stop front-runner Donald Trump.
"You know Ted Cruz is not my favorite, by any means, Graham, who dropped his own bid for the White House in December, said in an interview with CBS. But we may be in a position where we have to rally around Ted Cruz as the only way to stop Donald Trump, and I'm not so sure that would work. His comments came with Super Tuesday results indicating Trump would win as many as eight states. They also came a week after Graham joked, If you killed Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate, and the trial was in the Senate, nobody could convict you.
Graham has been a tough critic of both Trump or Cruz. He once said that choosing between the two would be "like being shot or poisoned. I think you get the same result, whether it's quick or it takes a long time."

Most of us here that support Cruz do so because his friend is the constitution.
Get smart? Your blind devotion to Elmer Gantry is laughable. Trump clearly said that he WILL not fund the abortion part of PP. Yet you refuse to believe it because Elmer would lose a talking point. Last night was Elmer’s “Howard Dean” moment. The only thing missing was the strangled cat.
Most of us here that support Cruz do so because his friend is the constitution.
Interesting. I don’t find the treaty clause busting Corker bill or enabling the secret trade agenda of most lawless, unconstitutional POTUS in history particularly “constitutional.” But I guess whatever floats your boat, FRiend.
Correct. Trump attacked Romney is 2012 for wanting to encourage self deportation of illegals. Cruz supported building a wall whil Trump was supporting amnesty and importing workers instead of hiring Americans.
CLEAR difference, lodi. Thank you.
To even compare the two (Duke/Sen Grahmnesty) is delusional and an example of the sick GOPee/Open Borders/PAC paid stretching and spinning we’ve seen. And, with Linda’s GOPe admission, this will only get worse, to support their newly propped up candidate, cRuz. cRuz is the new Rube.
I watched that interview last night on CBS. That was all Linda. The way he talked was such an embarrassment. Heit’s a class A jerk!
South Carolina, wth? His can you keep voting for this creep?
***I think Sessions is going to be sad that he acted like a rat and jumped off the Cruz ship***
I think this is the most interesting and disturbing post of this entire campaign; how quickly people have turned on Jeff Sessions.
There’s a bunch of little dictator wannabes running around demanding everyone like “their guy.” Sorry Sessions doesn’t like or trust Cruz. He’s had to work with him, maybe that should tell you all something.
I'll bet he does, along with a couple of loaves of bread to bake.
Ping me when AnoinTED goes for the "walk on water" thingee.
This should be a red flag for Cruz supporters. Cruz will have to work with Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, and Lindsey Graham because they hold the title on Cruz. He’s taking more money every day from open-borders, gun control donors.
He has no choice, already signed on the dotted line and agreed to the terms with his increasing war chest.
Graham is a pile of something you have to watch for and make sure you don’t step in when you walk in the yard.
Tom Cruise isn’t running for President.
Krispy Kreme much?
A singular endorsement Vs. a high insider saying that the Gope may/should have to put their entire weight behind Cruz in order to “save the party” (i.e. their sorry rears) from Trump.
Bit of a difference.
Your post #86 -right on mark!
Bit of a difference.

Yes, I agree - ther is a bit of a difference. An actual endorsement celebrated with huge huzzahs here on TrumpRepublic from a RINO leader of the National Governor's Association vs. a feigned "endorsement" from a back-bench lawmaker whose biggest accomplishment in the Senate has been to hold John McCain's colostomy bag.
Real RINO endorsement vs. phony joke/insult endorsement
Yes, most sentient beings know the difference.
Geez, I want my old FR back.
Trump has already defended Planned Parenthood...and maybe, just maybe the reason he doesn’t want to disclose his taxes is because he financially has donated to groups like Emily List and Planned Parenthood.
