“...and Reagan was 38% behind Carter at this very time in 1980.”

Reagan and Trump cannot even be compared in the same sentence.

Trump, on his best day, has nothing on Reagan.

Ronald Reagan wanted to do what was best for this country.

Trump is doing this, well...no one is quite sure why he’s doing this.

Obviously, you have been listening to only the non-stop anti-Trump hyperbole. That agenda is definitely dishonest.

You could try reading his stands on issues on the website, or listening to the actual candidate.

OK little stevie (lower case intentional).
.
.

Point out to me and everyone else where I compared the two men to each other. I pointed out a statistic that blows away the rational of your ridiculous comparison based off nothing other than some so-called polls that we know nothing about the internals. Get over it already. Just put on your seat belt and enjoy the ride like the rest of us.

If Trump is the nominee, I’ll vote for him - but he’s DOA going into November. Your vote for Trump is more or less a vote for Hillary. That makes her your gal more than mine.

Not according to the data I have been seeing. There is a significant and measurable enthusiasm gap between democrat and republican primary voters. Extrapolate the difference in primary numbers against the 2008 election numbers and Trump wins. There is also a large and surprising number of Bernie supporters whose second choice is not Hillary, but Trump. A Bernie vote is not necessarily a vote for socialism but a vote against Hillary, and Trump will win a sigificant portion of Bernie voters in the general. All the GOPe has to do is shut up.

Save your sanctimonious crap for someone who cares.

Your statistic means absolutely nothing. In that, you can’t compare Reagan and Trump - you also can’t compare 1980 to 2016.

Totally different times and totally different candidates.

Before talking down to someone, maybe you ought to know what the f*** you’re talking about.
