Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), whose hard-line conservative stances on immigration and trade have made him a favorite of the party’s base, endorsed Donald Trump's White House bid during a joint appearance here in his home state Sunday.
"Politicians have promised for 30 years to fix illegal immigration. Have they done it? Donald Trump will do it," Sessions said at the Madison City Schools Stadium, where thousands gathered to hear Trump speak. "I've told Donald Trump this isn’t a campaign, this is a movement."

His track record has very rarely stumbled

I have no great affection for Rubio. He is far less conservative than Cruz.
But Trump is anti-conservative so that is rather moot.

There is nothing nasty about my posts. As I have noted before, Trump calls Cruz in rallies “a pussy.” That is nasty and vicious
Trump calls Cruz “the worst liar I have ever met” Trump has met a lot of politicians including Bill and Hillary. To call Cruz worse than the Clintons is vicious.
Trump’s attacks on Carson when Carson was rising in the polls were personal and vicious.
His supporters like that. I don’t.
He is accountable for his words whether his supporters like it or not.

I think most of us liked Cruz. I certainly thought he’d make a good VP, a good rudder for Trump.
Things started sounding off before Iowa, now he’s off the rails.

Thank you for your post. I agree and as I said I really believe we all want the best for America just differ on what that is. When Cruz ran for the Senate even being from NC ( with our own libs to fight) I contributed to his campaign. Things much later changed for me.
The person I am most disappointed in is Beck. I learned so much from him at one time, attended rallies then he changed so drastically it is scary. I pray for the best guidance for America tomorrow.
