Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Ala.), whose hard-line conservative stances on immigration and trade have made him a favorite of the party’s base, endorsed Donald Trump's White House bid during a joint appearance here in his home state Sunday.
"Politicians have promised for 30 years to fix illegal immigration. Have they done it? Donald Trump will do it," Sessions said at the Madison City Schools Stadium, where thousands gathered to hear Trump speak. "I've told Donald Trump this isn’t a campaign, this is a movement."

If Trump becomes POTUS, he should make Christie AG and put Cruz on the SCOTUS, replacing Scalia. Cruz is only 44; he could be on the court 40+ years, more than two generations.

Then why is a “real conservative” endorsing a “not real conservative”?
Tearing down the GOPe is very conservative.
So is building a wall.
So is creating jobs in the private sector.
So is shrinking the size of government.
So is placing a hold on Muslims entering the country.
So is protecting the Second Amendment
So is moving control of children's education to a more local level.
You know no such thing about Cruz's delegates.
If you are questioning "sense", what sense does it make to support someone who, for the first 60 years of his life, vocally and financially supported leftist candidates and positions, still supports many leftist positions, and only recently, when he wanted to run for president, started mouthing conservative talking points.
Of course, it all doesn't matter, because he'll "build the wall!!!!!!!" and he does a really good job at belittling his opponents.
It's amazing.

Trump and his supporters have denounced both good men as pathological liars.
Trump and his supporters have attacked Cruz and Carson with more venom than Bernie or Hillary. There’s a lesson there.

I agree but to what end. What has changed? 19 trillion in debt,borders wide open. We’re walking backwards still. Great victories but to what end.
If he would have done that before he declared war on Trunp, he could have been a condender for VP, and then in good time, go for president again. Instead, he burned his bridges.
