Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-Alabama) endorsed Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Huntsville Sunday evening. Sessions ensured a "Gang of Eight" type of immigration reform bill will not will pass under Donald Trump
"There is an opportunity this year, Tuesday, and we have the opportunity -- we have an opportunity Tuesday. It may be the last opportunity we have for the people's voice to be heard. You have asked for 30 years, and politicians have promised for 30 years to fix illegal immigration," Sessions said.
"It is in my best judgment that in this time in history it is time to make America great again!" Sessions said to applause.
"I am pleased to endorse Donald Trump for the presidency of the United States," Sessions endorsed.

Sessions is VP material.
But don't forget Sessions has always had nice things to say about Cruz, defended Cruz against the lies against him.
Where is the Hannity endorsement he promised us by this time?
Hannity said he wanted the hear for all the candidates.
Well there were 17 candidates at that time, now 5 remain.
Of the 5 only 3 are major candidates, and he has interviewed them dozens of times.
There have been 10 debates, so Mr. Hannity why no endorsement, If Sen. Sessions can decide why can’t you?
Hannity disappoints me I don’t want to be a listener to a BS artist.
After Tuesday its too late to endorse, Hannity becomes irrelevant. Hannity just wanted to keep us listening to his show, he played us and lied to us. Shame on you Sean.

Hannity isn’t my cup of tea, but I think he’s entitled to avoid making a clear pick - and in fact, my hat is off to him, to the extent he is able to give all of them fair hearing. From what I hear, he has been successful at that.
I wonder if this will wake up the remaining Cruz supporters.

Session is one of the few politicians I respect. I wonder how long before the liberals and disrupters on FR will start bashing him like the did to Palin, Coulter and others who have opposed amnesty and undesirable immigrants.

Yes, Cruz & Sessions have been strong allies, but (imho) this endorsement essentially ends Cruz’s campaign.
When faced with a choice between Trump and Cruz, Sessions decided we’d be better off with Trump as president.
