You heard it hear first. Hopefully Drudge will pick it up in less than 24 hours.
Repeat... Roger Stone said Cruz via Attorneys told Rubio he will drop out for SCOTUS (Supreme Court of the U.S.) Appointment
I have no links, and I guess we will see if it rolls out in the news.
wow, very principaled
Party 1 said that party 2 told party 3...
I find that hard to believe since no rational person would think that Rubio has a chance.
This. If Rubio does better than Cruz Super Tuesday, or otherwise shows some indication of pulling ahead of Cruz, maybe Cruz would propose such a thing, but at this point? Unlikely.
I don’t believe it. But even if Ted Cruz himself came to my house to endorse Rubio, he still won’t get my vote as he is “dead to me”.
Like Rubio can be trusted.
Trump would appoint Sessions.
I would certainly support such an appointment, Cruz seems a natural for the court.
Isn’t that sort of deal illegal?
Considering the ill feelings many in the Senate have for Cruz, you can sure bet Graham and crew won’t bend over and say the prez should have whomever he wants. Cruz might have a difficult time getting confirmation in a GOP controlled Senate.
If the GOP loses the Senate in November — and that is very likely considering the ‘angry’ mood — Cruz would not get confirmation in a Dem controlled Senate.
Trump has a way of alienating those who could become his finest Allies, if given the opportunity...
MHO......
Well, perhaps Cruz should be asked at his confirmation hearings if he will recuse himself on trade and immigration cases.
They would be getting Cruz off the Senate floor (and off their backs) for life. I’d bet they’d do it for that reason alone!
And how would Roger Stone—a Drumpf operative—know that?
Weird .. I doubt the Senate would confirm Cruz .. seeing as how they are so hateful toward him.
I can’t imagine Cruz saying this now.
Roger Stone has been reading my posts!
This really does not sound believable at all. Why in the world would Cruz tell Rubio anything of this sort? What are we now, a quilting bee coffee klatch?
Now I know were I hurd it first.
