The Talk Shows
February 28th, 2016
Guests to be interviewed today on major television talk shows:
FOX NEWS SUNDAY (Fox Network): GOP Presidential Candidate Donald Trump; GOP Presidential candidate Ted Cruz.
MEET THE PRESS (NBC): Cruz, Trump, Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders; Republican presidential candidate John Kasich.
FACE THE NATION (CBS): Cruz, Sanders, Trump.
THIS WEEK (ABC): Cruz, Sanders; New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie.
STATE OF THE UNION (CNN): Cruz, Christie, Kasich; Rep. Marsha Blackburn, R-Tenn.
Sharyl Attkissons Full Measure A sobering investigation into the cost of medical services, where the difference can be THOUSANDS for the EXACT SAME PROCEDURE! How can they vary so widely, even within the same city?
Thanks for this. I knew that Sammons daughter worked for the Rubio campaign, but didn’t know that Sammons was involved in the debates. If Trump participates in the Thursday debate on Fox, he might want to keep this as a holding card.
It also begs the question: will Marquito (little Marco in Espanol) get the questions in advance?
Cruz is on all 5 shows
Cruz blew that interview. Now we see why he was not going on those shows. Very short temper and snarky.
Asking about his dirty tricks is a very valid question and then to pretend he was reading the Trump attack file was pretty weak.
I can now appreciate just why Cruz avoids most of the Sunday shows. He was really nasty and had some difficulty finding the truth.
BTW - they are harping on Trump releasing his tax returns, as I understand it, Cruz and Marco only released a summary of their returns, not the full returns yesterday. Convenient that they could do that so quickly after Romney just came out this week about Trump’s returns.
Absolutely share those thoughts with you!
We all do. It’s a given as to why Trump is so popular and why those of us on the right seem to overlook these petty attacks by Cruz and Rubio.
Trump should make a deal with Kasich. An endorsement for an administration position. That slot would be head of the Post Office. Kasich' father was a mailman ya know.
“He was really nasty and had some difficulty finding the truth.”
Anyone supporting the Donald has know business calling someone else nasty and claiming they have difficulty find the truth. He is the master of both of these things.
On ABC, Gov. Nikki Haley, with a small Islamic crescent
on her chest necklace, proclaims she supports Rubio
and deems that he is the “winner”.
She and Rubio, in their combined smear attack
on Mr. Trump, demonstrate that DNC and ABC
need say nothing more as the GOP smears their
front runner .... chosen by the People.
Rubio is sounding like Occupy Wall Street. Let’s hear about your accomplishments Marco.
If Trump released his taxes there would be a Mother of All Fishing Expedition.
The DemonRats seem to have something on everyone.
Sounds like must see TV - doesn’t come on here for a little over an hour.
Trump rally today in AL - read on another thread and posted on our Trump rally thread yesterday, they had to move the location to Madison (original venue in Huntsville as I recall) b/c they were expecting about 30,000.
That’s all great beandog however I sent money to Cruz and had him as my first choice until he played some games in Iowa with Carson and the phony mailer. I try to have an open mind and IMO Cruz failed to gain support on Fox this morning.
LOL!
With Kasich being in Congress for so many years and on the budget committee (IIRC that’s when they tried to balance the budget under Newt), he might not be bad as director of OMB, or possibly chief of staff to try to shepherd items through Congress. I’ve said a few times that I think that Newt might be a good chief of staff, though he probably wouldn’t want it.
Agreed, and I guarantee you there would be something there that pundits could criticize or complain about. It does not matter how trivial or small, the media/press/pundit class would blow it out of proportion.
What? No Rubio? :)
Rubio was on with Wallace, recorded yesterday.
He's orange, Dan, he's orange:
He was previously bald, white, and gray:
