It is one of the four main cities in the four-county Northwest Arkansas Metropolitan Statistical Area, which is ranked 109th in terms of population in the United States with 463,204 in 2010 according to the United States Census Bureau. The city itself had a population of 35,301 at the 2010 Census, with an estimated population of 40,167 in 2013.

The second rally today, Saturday, February 27, 2016, is in Millington, TN at the Millington Regional Jetport. The event is scheduled to begin at 6:00 PM CST.

Millington is a city in Shelby County, Tennessee, United States. As of the 2010 census, it had a population of 10,176. Millington is the home of the Memphis International Raceway. It was granted the title “Flag City Tennessee” by the Tennessee State Legislature.

No surprise there.

There are similarities between Bushes and MRubio. Open borders, amnesty. Support the religion of pieces. Claim during elections that they are conservatives. Have problems managing money.

Huck was on FOX this morning. Sure sounded like he had already endorsed DJT. Talked about the pos Romney and the release your taxes scam. Gave more history. Apparently it worked against Romneys father so he’s trying it on others. Loooooooser!

I’ve read (and sometimes responded to) your various posts over a number of years and I really appreciate you - you seem to be very astute when it comes to politics.

I just want to make sure I understand the process for a name being placed in nomination at the convention.

I get that a candidate has to have 1,237 delegates.

I’m wondering about Rule 40:
“Officially, it’s Rule 40 in the RNC handbook and it states that any candidate for president “shall demonstrate the support of a majority of the delegates from each of eight (8) or more states” before their name is presented for nomination at the national convention.”

As I understand it, a majority is at least 50% - different than a plurality.

With the winner take all states, I think that would be rather evident that the candidate reached a majority. However, with these earlier states, it is not quite clear to me, though the candidates are racking up the number of delegates. Would you please let me know if my thinking on the below is correct re rule #40.

Iowa: Cruz got 1 more than Trump, therefore Cruz does not have a majority of this state, therefore it doesn’t count towards the 8 states needed.

NH: Trump got 11 and others got various of the 23 total, so this state does not count towards the 8 states

SC: Trump got all 50 delegates, so this state DOES count towards the 8 states needed.

NV: Trump got 14, Rubio got 7 and others got various of the 30 total, so this state does not count towards the 8 states

If my thoughts are correct on the above, then Trump would need 7 more states and 1,156 delegates(currently has 81 delegates). Is that correct?

What about the candidates that have dropped out. Can they assign their delegates to someone else prior to the convention, or do they have to wait until the convention?

I only heard part of what Huck was saying but what I heard he did a good job. I’ve been saying for quite a while now that Huck and Mr. T seem to like each other and I thought he might endorse him when he’s in AR today.

Everyone is talking about Christie’s endorsement, which is understandable as he is a big (not talking about his size) figure in politics, is gov of a blue state, and was a Prez candidate. Gov LePage of Maine also endorsed Mr. T yesterday - not really getting any notice, but I suspect he’ll appear with him if and when Trump goes to Maine.

Trump said that more endorsements are coming.

First, thank you very much for your kind compliments. Much appreciated.

I see it that way too.

-- What about the candidates that have dropped out. Can they assign their delegates to someone else prior to the convention, or do they have to wait until the convention? --

Good question, I don't know! My gut tells me the delegates are frozen until after the first ballot at the nominating convention, but my gut is often wrong. I am pretty sure the ability to shift delegates is determined on state-by-sate party rules. I don't think it matters, practically, because neither Cruz nor Rubio will undercut the party, so there are only a handful of delegates in potential play, even if a state party rules allowed a candidate to give his delegates to what was an opponent in the primary.

Be nice if Huck could surprise at the AR rally.

Chris Collins and Duncan Hunter are also stirring the pot with their endorsements. Both spoke very well for Trump. Collins said their were many on floor of congress who agreed with his decision

Joe says he will be discussing a major drug investigation next week. Says he doesn’t care what Mexico and Foxe think, he and Trump are just trying to do their jobs.

Said he got stonewalled by the Mexican gov’t - wanted to meet with them and also with the polls.

Re Hispanic vote - he did fine in LV - can’t always believe the polls.

He wants to help Trump become nominee and the Prez. Doesn’t want a role in admin - running for sheriff for 7th time and wants to stay there.

Was respectful about McCain but said they’ve had their ups and downs.
