Hours after New Jersey governor and former Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie endorsed frontrunner Donald Trump's campaign for the White House, Maine's governor, Paul LePage, has thrown his support behind the real estate tycoon...
"The one thing I like about Donald Trump, I'm not gonna say I agree with everything he's saying... he's showing a vision for the future," LePage said. "He wants to make America great again, and he's the only person doing that right now."

For ST, people are thinking if they still want to vote for the No. 2 and No. 3 guys.
Especially when they have zero chance to win.
I said this yesterday.
Maine is now in play to flip Red.
Simple answer. Trump is a "Rockefeller Republican."
"They were usually fiscally moderate to center-right, socially moderate to center-left, and slightly hawkish on foreign policy, and were thus sometimes referred to as "liberal Republicans". Geographically, they were most concentrated on the East Coast, leading to the nickname "the Eastern Establishment" to describe them at the height of their power."

Does anything about that not exactly describe Trump?
Like most wealthy northeastern Republicans, Trump falls in a narrow political spectrum from Bloomberg on the left to Giuliani on the right. The only question is whether he is closer to Bloomberg or Giuliani.
If Trump is the nominee, I will hold my nose and vote against Hillary, just like I held my nose and voted against Obama in 2008 and 2012. I have no illusions, however, that Trump is conservative, any more than I had any delusions that McCain and Romney were conservatives.
You just get better than Trump!!! Been saying this since June 2015 and will continue to say it...
WOOHOO GO.TRUMP.GO!!!
Sorry, I don’t recall ONE “Rockefeller Republican” who was for closing the border, fair trade, or expanding gun rights. Do you? Really?
Sorry, but you must have a very short memory. Until a few years ago, even most Democrats were in favor of closing the border, fair trade, and expanding gun rights.
Hell, Trump could easily be running on the Democratic Party Platform of 1996.
"[W]e must remain a nation of laws. We cannot tolerate illegal immigration and we must stop it. For years ... Washington talked tough but failed to act .... [O]ur borders might as well not have existed. The border was under-patrolled, and what patrols there were, were under-equipped. Drugs flowed freely. Illegal immigration was rampant. Criminal immigrants, deported after committing crimes in America, returned the very next day to commit crimes again."
Sound familiar?
Nope. Clinton didn’t run on expanding gun rights and NO DEM ever seriously wanted to close the border. Try again.
You have no idea if Trump seriously wants to close the border. Trump is an excellent salesman. He knows how to tell his audience whatever they want to hear in order to close a sale. In that respect, he is exactly like Clinton.
GREAT!!!
Thanks for the ping. More Great News for Trump!
