Chris Christie Endorses Donald Trump
The New York Times ^ | February 25, 2016 | Staff

Gov. Chris Christie of New Jersey endorsed Donald J. Trump on Friday, a major turn in a wild race and one that gives the New York businessman a major boost as he heads into the pivotal Super Tuesday contests.

Mr. Christie was a candidate himself until he came in sixth place in New Hampshire’s primary. But his backing of Mr. Trump comes after weeks of him saying that it was time for the “entertainment” portion of the race to end, and as he had said that the type of executive leadership that a governor has is important.

I think that geographic thinking is long gone.

You are in denial. Cruz himself said, he wanted Oalin to endorse him in presidential race, and he admitted he could have never won Texas senate race without her help.

But keep deluding yourself. It will not change anything.

“The media talking points are Rubio-Rubio-Rubio until the SEC.”

I’ve been noticing the all-things-Rubio starting this morning with a vengeance. MSM has their talking points so that’s what we’ll be hearing.

After Christie’s illogical defense of abortion because he doesn’t like the father (abortion is self defense?), I am not surprised he is endorsing that paragon of pro-life values, Donald J. Trump.

He did say it would have been nice for sure. But then after her screeching speech that even made Trump wince, I think Cruz was ok with her moving on.

Jimmy Carter......you must be proud of that one.

sagar is a cruzer. Still in denial, in believing after the whooping in SC Cruz still has a chance. Just imagine, not a single county won in entire state, with 67% voters in exit polls said they are evangelicals. The cheating in Iowa has diminished Cruz, and he has no path to winning 8 states. That is the minimum required to win nomination.

“Christie will be campaigning with Trump throughout Texas and several other Super T States”

I think that if he could pick up Huckabee’s endorsement (southerner) today or tomorrow it would be even more powerful for Super Tuesday.

Rev. Jeffress’ speech at the noon rally today kicked ass. I hope that is replayed loudly and often.

Does that mean abortion is not at top of list for the 94 million unemployed Americans?

“Rubio needed to take whatever ‘gains’ people thought he made last night & keep them going. “

Isnt it interesting that the “gains” that he made last night were made by imitating Christie!

Even Newt is a bit in awe of how Trump is handling the candidacy. It’s practically a perfect campaign and he’s never done it before.

I believe that was the same choice that Dole, Bush, McCain and Romney gave me. I am so very tired of that crap.

The fact is, our national security situation so far as our borders are concerned, has reached the tipping point. What Dole, Bush, McCain or Romney might or might not have done, is no longer the issue. If Hillary Rotten Criminal gets into the White House, our Republic will be transferred from the ICU to the morgue and the UniParty will preside over the funeral. If we don't stop the establishment career politicians and throw their asses overboard, our freedoms and liberties will be nothing but a distant memory in the history books yet to be written.

Reasonable. Huckabee shores up the evangelical bona fides and still provides Governor experience on the ticket.

Trump then would have to do the heavy lifting in the Northeast. If any of NY, MA, PA or NJ goes for the GOP, Dems don’t have the arithmetic to get to 270 Electoral Votes.

Isn’t 72 too old for VP? It would be better to have a younger person in that office, apprentice (no pun) for 4 or 8 years, and then move in to the Presidency.

You have no clue, sorry to say.

Because you say so? I'm still waiting for a viable and reasonable substantive explanation on how Trump plans on making Mexico pay for his wall.

I'm waiting for a viable and substantive explanation about his proposed violation of existing law to allow deported immigration violators to be expedited back into the USA ahead of those who have been waiting in line for years. I want a substantive explanation from Trump about why that is not touchback amnesty.

I can go on, but why bother? You will just insult and castigate just like the man you would make king.

That is why you are 1/10,000 as successful in real life as Trump. If you think you can become a multi-Billionaire by being stupid, that explains why Trump is 10,000 times more successful than you.

I didn't say anything about Trump being stupid. But what's with this bragging about his wealth have anything to do with the substance of his 'plan' to supposedly 'make America great again'? If it's about making money - that is never going to make us great again.

My definition of success in life has never been how much money one makes. Pelosi has billions. Reid has millions. So does John Kerry. I assume you consider them to be great success in life too? Trump has said emphatically that he can work with both Pelosi and Reid.

Birds of a feather in financial success I guess.
