WSOC-TV ^ | Feb 24, 2016 | Debbie Lord

"I would think that because of the fact that while I'm very political - I'm not a politician - I would want to choose a politician," the candidate told FOX Business Network's Neil Cavuto.

Trump's national campaign co-chair told the Boston Herald the candidate is looking for a "diamond in the rough" as a potential running mate.

Not Portman or Rand. They have Senate seats to defend this year. Scott is not liked in Florida. Walker and Kasich on probably on the short list along with Martinez and Carson.

Definitely not Sarah Palin. She was shrill, scattered and wacky when Donald stood with her a few weeks ago. Notice, you have not seen Donald with Sarah since that week. PLus, her priotities have either changed or become something I won’t support, i.e., Sarah blaming Obama for her son’s PTSD. That didn’t sound very conservative to me at all. Plus, negative distraction and ongoing circus of her adult children’s private lives, now thrust into public view, whether we asked for it or not.
Give Sarah some sort of cabinet appointment, yes, but do not campaign with her.

Perry will have a big issue with building a wall and deporting illegals. He will think that is heartless.

I liked him too until he called people that supported enforcing immigration laws and securing the border heartless. That is why his campaign was a disaster.

Trump likes the lapdog Roobio. Trump wants to make peace with the establishment. Trump does not give a crap about conservatives.

If Trump gets the nomination, it will be either be Trump-Rubio or Trump-Kasich. Conservatives will be expected to be obedient battered wives and go along. Conservatives took it in 1992 with Pappy Boosh, in 1996 with Dole, in 2000-2004 with Moron Bush, in 2008 with McPain, in 2012 with Mittens, and in 2016 with Trump, but hopefully not.

Aside from his Brilliant Senatorial speeches, I’m really not familiar with his background.

Even though Daddy Ron has come out and said he wouldn’t support Trump if he’s the nominee?

Hey y, play it cool.

Like bigfoot, I’ve never seen clear evidence of TDS.

I just believe I caught it on my FR trailcam.

Who’s you candidate again?

Kasich, though he’s probably too conservative for Trump, Christie, ditto. Maybe a Sandoval, someone like Bloomberg (if he weren’t from New York). Definitely someone who will act as a toady to Trump, he won’t brook any dissent from his VP or anyone else.

Robot Rubio is not a nbc. He would only harm Trump’s chances since he will bring nothing to the ticket. A puppet whose strings are pulled by special interests.

Mia Love. That's a big negatory...

Has all sorts of nice "tea party" statements on her web site...but voted for Bohner...and all of Obama's requirements.

His dust with Thomas Figures when Sessions was Alabama Attorney General would come up. Crap that the campaign would not need to deal with.
