Kerry on Gitmo Detainee Who Returned to Terrorism: âHeâs Not Supposed to Be Doing Thatâ
BY: Aaron Kliegman February 24, 2016 5:45 pm
Secretary of State John Kerry lamented Wednesday that a terrorist who the Obama administration released from the military prison at Guantanamo Bay subsequently returned to fight for al Qaeda, telling lawmakers âheâs not supposed to be doing that.â
Appearing before the State, Foreign Operations, and Related Programs Subcommittee of the Senate Appropriations Committee, Kerry made the statement while testifying about the State Departmentâs budget request for the fiscal year 2017.
During the hearing, Sen. Mark Kirk (R., Ill.) asked Kerry for his thoughts on Ibrahim al Qosi, the former Guantanamo detainee who is now a prominent al Qaeda leader, and had staffers hold up a picture of the terrorist for Kerry to see.
âLet me just ask one question,â Kirk said to Kerry. âI want to show you a picture of Ibrahim al Qosi, who was recently released by the administration to the Sudanese, and he appeared on some al Qaeda videos recruiting people for AQAP [al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula].â
Kirk went on to say, âNow that heâs out, I would hope we would end the policy of issuing terrorists to terrorist nations, and where they can get out.â

To #35> Slight addition: “Kerry-Heinz on a roll, with relish” and a slight touch of TREASON.
Sternly worded letter alert.....
“Does Kerryâs IQ even approach room temperature?”
Only if the room is a walk in freezer, and the temperature is measured in celsius
Those in Washington are truly mind boggling stupid.
Once a terrorist, always a terrorist.
Gee oh gee did this make Fox? Ridicule loud and often is what the Right needs to get better at. See Donald Trump, crud but effective, see Ted Cruz.
“Does Kerry possess a functional frontal lobe?”
Apparently those two bolts got moved over from his neck and drilled way to deep to his forehead.
Treason should be the charge. It wouldn't be the first time he gave aid and comfort to one of our enemies.
