This afternoon in Sparks Nevada. Donald Trump told voters that all the candidates had left the State of Nevada in the morning, and were unworthy of their support. Here is Trump saying it:
It is true that Marco Rubio and John Kasich are not in Nevada for the running of the caucuses. Rubio is in Michigan, and Kasich was in Georgia. But there's a problem for Trump. Trump strongly reacted to the Cruz campaign using a media report in the Iowa Caucuses against Ben Carson, calling Cruz's victory a fraud.
This time it was Trump himself saying that Cruz had left the state and was not worthy of voters votes for doing so. Multiple tweets from reporters show Cruz in Nevada, speaking at caucuses.
An hour later as caucusing is well under way, Cruz is still in Nevada
Will Trump hold himself to his own standard?

Someone should do a video of Cruz....with the Theme of the old Song...”I’m Sorry....So sorry” cuz that’s all I’ve heard lately.
I doubt there were many undecided voters at a Trump rally. Besides Glenn beck was at the caucus for Cruz. That probably cost Cruz more votes than anything Trump could do or say.
Sean seem pro-Trump. Is that incorrect? He was happy Trump won, he’s grinning from ear to ear a lot
I distinctly remember yesterday that Rubio DID leave Nevada to go campaign in the midwest, and I also don’t think Cruz campaigned the state during the day, just arrived at night for a post-results event.
What am I supposed to be mad about here?
I’m confused here...
How exactly did Trump communicate this message to Cruz supporters? Were they at his event or watching him on TV?
Somehow I don’t think so...
The point, lost on many posters here, is that had Ted Cruz said this, Trump would be tweeting “Ted Cruz is a LIAR! I’m still in Nevada.” The press would pick it up for a news cycle and continue the meme.
This is exactly on the order of the Iowa thing and may or may not have had as little effect. Trump was going to win Nevada. Cruz was going to win Iowa.
One big difference here, is that Trump actually was the one saying the “inaccuracy.” In Iowa, it was staffers and not Cruz. Obviously there are differences, but the biggest is that Trump is Teflon coated.
I Stand with Ted, but will still vote for Trump if he’s the nominee. I’m not going to get my panties all wadded over this double standard. Conservatives are used to it.
Cruz knows he is not NBC and is actually committing a crime. He is knowingly taking money under false pretenses.
If meanie Mr. Trump hadn’t said that, Cruz would have almost, nearly, just about, basically, give or take a couple thousand votes, tied Rubiobot for 2nd place and... received the exact same number of NV delegates he got.
Trump keeps getting away with hypocrisy, as in his having his brand name shirts manufactured in Bangladesh, while trashing industries that move overseas.
No, it’s okay for trump to lie.
Even you can see the difference.
Just more cheating by the Trumpanzee. Did he wear his Klan outfit to do the speech?
If people are gullible enough to let that influence their voting, maybe they should vote on Wednesday instead.

Is that some kind of child porn?
You guys are grasping at anything and everything right now. Iâm sure that hourâs difference accounted for Trumpâs 25 pt victory over Ted.
....are you a complete idiot, or do you NOT see your own hypocrisy in the sTrumpet lies and dirty tricks vs what he accuses others of? Oh its the OrangeCombOver talking so never mind.
I get you koolaid drinkers now....
ymmv
...and you live in a complete fantasy world about who trump is. He’s a fraud and a con man.
Wonât hurt him like it did Cruz
...mmmmm isn’t that a lovely double standard, just like we so enjoy from the media...
ymmv
You sound like a left wing democrat. Read your Trumpanzee comment back to yourself and see how it sounds. How embarrassing for you.
The Trumpanzee mopped the floor with the other two candidates yet again. Hike up your skirt and get on the Trump bus, its time to win again!
The gullibility is mind boggling. I never thought I would see see FReepers buy into the NY hustler. 99.9% of opinion here used to be that he was a clown, egomaniac and an attention whore.
