Rick Tyler, the Senior Communications Advisor for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), issued a public apology after spreading a false story reporting that Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) made a nasty comment to a Cruz staffer about the Bible.
"I want to apologize to Senator Marco Rubio for posting an inaccurate story about him here earlier today," Tyler wrote on Facebook after sharing the false story online. "The story misquoted a remark the Senator made to the staffer. I assumed wrongly that the story was correct."
The false report indicated that Rubio said that there were "not many answers" in the Bible -- when in fact, Rubio commented that "all the answers" were in the book of scripture.
Tyler indicated that he communicated with the Cruz staffer in the video, who explained that Rubio had made a "friendly and appropriate remark" about the Bible.
"Since the audio was unclear, I should not have assumed the story was correct," Tyler wrote. "I've deleted the post because I would not knowingly post a false story. But the fact remains that I did post it when I should have checked its accuracy first. I regret the mistake."

AS is 80% of the US government-FedReserve and Congressional financial (taxers).... all interlinked with Golden Slacks. Some time ago, Golden Slacks incorporated USgov into their business plan, just like BigPharma, and BigInsurance and GlobalistBiz/NWO cartelists. Which, btw, includes Mr. Trump and his slimy Russian oligarch mobster “partners”- who are quite extant in NYC “real estate”, and ID’d as such ever since the collapse of the Soviet Union— all ex-KGB (like Putin) since that is the only way to maintain control over commodity industries like oil, gas, coal, timber, seafood and earth metals (uranium)- the only real thing Russia has to offer, having destroyed personal freedom from Lenin forward.
Clintons and Bushes have been aligned with GS for sometime, also AlGore and climate change investment fraud, worldwide. ChinaScam also— it’s all Golden Slacks. The House of Saud, GS, and the Donald are another “line of business” for properties in the Middle East (see trump Dubai,Abu Dhabi, Qatar and Saudi Arabia). After his comments about restricting muslim immigration- the Trump Golf Club in Dubai removed his name from the sign- not the partnership. Seems rich muslims are OK to come and go (unless you are speaking to a bunch of rubes who will vote for you), just like they were/are for any in the Golden Slacks cartel.
Rhetoric vs. reality. And choices— sovereignty and our Constitution vs. more crony investment/govt. “partnerships” and bones thrown to the “little people”.
not Clintonian, but just stoopid
Yeah, double standards, indeed. Cruz does honorable stuff that hurts him, like apologize when he’s wrong, but he’s the supposed dirty liar.
Trump lies and continues the lie after it’s been debunked, and just insults everyone who calls him on it, and he’s the champion of all that’s good.
I don’t even think issues matter anymore to most people here.
Trump is the god of the middle finger,
The patron saint of F*ck You,
and that’s all that seems to matter anymore.
You have the laugh line post. Bye.
I agree with your post. It is unreal and sad to watch all of this hatred and dishonesty.
>>but he seems to have brought into his campaign a few people who are not of the same caliber.
In this case a Cruz staffer evidently made a mistake of Tweeting before verifying the facts that were presented in the Subtitles that were added to a video made by a journalism STUDENT.

Interesting that Mr. Video Producer just happened to catch/post/caption that exchange whilst ~visiting~ the Cruz folks - along with several other campaigns that day.
Welcome to the domain of Internet “news”.
Mr. Video Producer might want to fess up and own HIS mistake before it gets rendered into a permanent GOOGLE-Albatross around his aspiring journalistic neck.
I'm sure all types of crap is being posted about every candidate running, but the media and beltway insiders want Cruz out, so they make a big deal out of everything they can find.
To prove my point - watch "Fair and Balanced" FOX news. They're for Trump or Rubio, but they NEVER have anything nice to say about Cruz. In fact, they're desperately trying not to even acknowledge him.
If Trump wins, it's a celebration, and if Rubio comes in third it's a celebration. What about Cruz?
If the MSM and the beltway insiders don't like Cruz, then HE'S the outsider we've been waiting for. (It doesn't matter what these pundants or beltway insiders SAY - it's what they DO that tells the real story.)
I’m a “Trump-bot” - I guess, at least I support Trump - and I don’t hate that. I admire that. Good for Rubio if that’s what he actually did.
There, now where are you going to pigeon-hole me?
The common point between Trump and Clinton is Trump and Clinton.
Looking at who is doing this in the campaign— who they are, wondering if the campaign is being manipulated by spooks, like they have done overseas. From the standpoint of the “Great Game”... our spook services work for one group— the international cartel and extra-sovereignty set. The same people who screwed up arms deals and choosing the Syrian “rebel” army of former al-qaeda operatives, who are then surprised when the Russians join in to defend their client state leader, Assad.
Working from inside the campaign— to screw it up, creating the illusion they are being clever and quick, with the blowback being destructive. Reagan cleared his campaign people and hired Casey— the old OSS pro. These people are NOT Casey. Vetting who works for you— a serious priority made more difficult when hiring spooks.
I hate to have somebody this inexperienced with PERSONAL links to a drug dealer in the White House. He is not even a nbc.
So true, Fox is unwatchable. All Rubio and Trump and ignoring Cruz. Cruz is taking incoming from GOPe and their media minions. He is a true outsider.
>>Video shows itâs a lie.
The “lie” evidently originated in the caption that appears to have been video taken and captioned by a journalism student “Video Producer”...

And Mr. Video Producer has some explaining to do.
It's important to Remember Brietbart is campaigning for Trump. If they find anything they can use against Cruz, they will. They will protect Trump.
Drudge is also in Trumps corner, so his site will be slanted as well. Please be aware of that if you visit his site.
The Blaze supports Cruz. So does Hannity and Levin. If you post articles from their sites, they'll have the dirt on Trump.
It seems like everyone has an agenda these days. Reporting isn't what it used to be. There was a time when the media simply reported the news and then left it the people to decide.
wow you guys will stoop pretty low
Cruz’s campaign is starting to crumble. The fact that Cruz didn’t win a single county in SC is very telling. It’s his dirty tricks, distortions, and the religious nuttiness that is turning off a lot of people.
He’s had Glenn Beck running around telling people that God has sent Cruz to guide us thru the Rapture, that Scalia’s death was part of God’s plan to get us to vote for Cruz, and how Beck is now fasting and praying for Cruz. Even Heidi said that Cruz will “show us the face of God,” and his father saying that he’s the “anointed one.” All this sounds like stuff you’d hear from someone in a compound with a stockpile of Kool-Aid.
Sounds like an “apology campaign” to me......
More betrayal. For the first time in 100 years the people of that state gave all the power to the Republican party. What did they do with that power? They hit the taxpayers of Nevada with the biggest tax increase in the states history!
The people there are NOT happy at all! Who can blame them?
Beck is an entertainer, its what he does. He’s an over the top entertainer.
Kinda like Trump.
Cruz has a curious campaign strategy saying anything as long as one apologies after the fact. This allows so many possibilities.
