No doubt Trump has the ability to surround himself with an excellent staff. This is another area that will make him an excellent President. I do love Newt though. He is as sharp as a tack. I would not be surprised it Trump has him on his team in some capacity when President.

The R's need to do something like Newt did in the 80's, Contract With America. Include items like deficit, immigration, health care, isis, etc. Think instead of 10 they should keep it at 5 or 6 items. Have all candidates onboard, Congress, Senate, POTUS. If done right would be huge for GOP, may get some of us back in the fold.

Hey! Maybe the R's can hold rifles over their heads and declare "If we're given the opportunity to lead the U.S. Senate next year, we won't let you down - unlike the last 20 years!"

...If they failed to follow up would be the end of the GOP.

I dunno, it's just me, but isn't 20 years of failing to "follow up" enough?

Thanks for posting that link to what Newt said last night georgiegirl. This article is based on what Newt said to Hannity last night, the article is a decent read, but the link in her post #56 is worth listening to as well.

Vote Trump!

It really doesn’t matter what Trump ‘could have done’ with his inheritance. The fact is, he multiplied it many times over, and turned it into a multi-billion dollar business empire through hard work and smart decision making.

That is an extraordinary accomplishment, and shouldn’t be brushed aside so casually. It says a great deal about the man, which is why people cite it in the first place.

Well, you’ve still got a nice big picture of Romney’s fake face on your profile, so I guess it’s clear where you’re coming from.

Rubio supporter, I presume?

I hope he’s not either, but there’s no way to tell for sure.

Sure maybe CNN, WSJ, USA Today, Soros, Clinton, Europe and his conservative rivals are playing us by pretending to be against him, thus propelling him. 8 years of the Muslim has left us with little other choice I suppose.

How in hell do you all think he was able to become a billionaire, by magic?

They will tell you that he just "inherited" his money.

The GOP thinks if they wait long enough, they will run Trump out of the race.
***************

The GOP is a soulless party devoid of any convictions. They need Trump a lot more than he needs them.

Of course it did.
The Republican candidate, backed by Newt, withdrew with 3 days left in the race and gave her endorsment and support to the Dem.
