GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump on Wednesday refused to pick sides in the conflict between Israel and Palestine.
"You know, I donât want to get into it," he told hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski during a MSNBC town hall in Charleston, S.C.

Why should a Jewish state then demand hundreds of millions for their national defense, and that we back them in everything, if they treat our Christian Missionaries as wolves that will make Jews "lose their soul" to such things as-- eating bacon and not believing in silly, Talmudic fables?
Answer the questions and then we’ll talk .. until then , you lose ...
Oh ooo..not going to make the Republican Jewish voters nor the Peo-Israel Christians very happy.
No wonder the “palaeos” love him so much.
You lose.
Go back to your Mearsheimer and Walt.
And Max Blumenthal.
And of course Jimmy Carter.
You stand with Obama, Valerie Jarrett, Robert Malley, the UN, the EU, Samantha Power, Susan Rice, Hillary, CAIR, The NY TIMES, Washington Post on this topic.
Trump has voiced support for Israel in the past.
Oh, are we allowed to consider past statements? That's gonna open a can of worms.
Read what he actually said.
I can add this to the long list of reasons as to why I oppose Donald Trump. Although, I’m sure, this will play well with some of Trump’s more interesting twitter supporters.
Oh yeah. It's not as if there were a One True G-d for all people everywhere and that He might prefer one side to the other in the Middle East. Let's put our non-existent American national "gxd" first. [/sarcasm]
Moral equivalence candidate.
LOL ... you couldn’t answer two simple questions and this is what you resort to ...
Please do the research and wake up to reality ...the situation over there is far more complicated than we like to admit ... things are not what they seem
LYING HEADLINE AGAIN
Jeez, how many of these will people fall for?
Trump has voiced his support AND opposition to EVERYTHING in the past. I thought this buffoon had no core values - but now I see where I was wrong - HE’S A LIBERAL.
No support of Israel, no vote from me.
Amazing how few posters bother to read an article before they post.
Such lefty headlines are designed for the clueless
and they work successfully
as a number of posts on this thread show.
Hm. I don't recall any conservatives advocating peace between Rhodesia and Communists in Africa, or between Somoza and the Sandinistas. But for some reason, whenever it comes to Israel things are very different, and "conservatives" want to give the Arabs half of the country.
But then, if you reject the idea that the Torah (including its national components) is still fully in effect, I suppose you wouldn't care whether Israel continued to exist or not--other than perhaps for reasons of Biblical sentimentalism. But an awful lot of "conservatives" seem sadly lacking in this most conservative outlook.
Your idea of “research” is to quote anti Israel sources.
And yet another reason not to support Trump, and to support Cruz...
Arguing that Israel is a crucial strategic ally to the U.S. in the Middle East, Cruz encouraged Washington to “stand shoulder-to-shoulder with Israel.”
He argued the move of the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem would send a clear signal that the next White House considers “Israel indispensible to Middle East stability and world security.”
“We are living in dangerous times. The nation of Israel has never been in more jeopardy,” Cruz said.
“In 2017, we need a president who will stand and say the United States will no longer fund the Palestinian Authority as long as it engages in incitement and as long as it is in a unity government with Hamas, a terrorist organization. When you are advocating the murder of Jews, you will not receive American taxpayer money.”

Grow up ...there are many credible sources ...just because it’s the truth doesn’t make it wrong .. Israel and Saudi Arabia are allies now ...
Why don’t you answer the questions I asked ?
The best shot you have is being level handed.
That doesn’t mean you sell one side out. It means you don’t load expectations up front.
You don’t telegraph the Arabs you will side with Israel. You don’t telegraph to Israel you’re going to side with the Arabs.
You keep a low profile, tell folks it’s a very tough situation, and you’ll do the best you can.
Saying anything else poisons the well.
The guy is smart.
