FULL TITLE: Feminist Celebrates Justice Scalia's Death, Makes Her Want to Sing "Ding-Ding! The Witch Is Dead"
Even in the face of a conservative warriorâs death, the feminist media are on the attack.
On Saturday, Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia passed away at the age of 79. The Catholic, pro-life constitutionalist embodied the values feminist media fight against daily in the name of their liberal agenda.
Cue their eulogy of a âone-man disasterâ and âwitch.â
In commemoration of the justiceâs death, Jezebel journalist Anna Merlan compiled âA Brief List of Some of the Terrible Things Antonin Scalia Said and Wrote.â
SIGN THE PETITION: Do Not Allow a Vote on Any Obama Supreme Court Nominee
Dispensing with the niceties, Merlan argued, âHe has children and grandchildren and Ruth Bader Ginsburg to mourn him; letâs not do that here,â she insisted. âBecause Scalia, while brilliant, was also a titanic, sweeping, one-man disaster for LGBT rights, racial justice, abortion access and general human decency.â Because he disagreed with herâ¦
â[L]etâs also take a brief stroll through some of the many hideous and inexcusable things Scalia said or wrote over the years,â she recommended. âWhere do we begin? Once we do, can we ever stop?â
She had little-to-no sympathy for his passing.
âEveryone deserves to rest in peace, we suppose, but Scalia is certainly not entitled to any special measure of it,â she wrote towards the end of her story.
Feminist writer Jill Filipovic similarly shed no tears.
âAt the very least, for American women, Scaliaâs death means the basic right to abortion is safe for now,â wrote Filipovic for Cosmopolitan. âBut for many Texas women, the right promised by Roe may continue to be more of an aspiration than a guarantee.â
For Romper, an offshoot of feminist site Bustle, writer Jamie Kenny also spun the death as a positive.
â[H]is voting record as viewed from an intersectional feminist perspective is frankly, appalling,â she wrote.
âScalia was often on the wrong side of progress, by most accounts,â she bashed. âFrom abortion rights to civil rights, to marriage equality to healthcare, from corporate citizenship to affirmative action, Scalia was known less for his rulings, and more for the pithy, gasp-inducing one-liners that summed up the disappointment, disgust, and fears of those left-of-center.â
So much so, that should could almost call him a âwitchâ:
â[I]t is tempting for women, feminists, the LGBT community, people of color, and anyone existing within intersections of those groups to give in to our less compassionate, baser nature and join together in a rousing and merry chorus of âDing-Ding! The Witch Is Dead!ââ
Feminists tend to be soulless ghouls.
Shrillary is so bad that I often wonder if even the Devil will want her.
Reminded me of the deaths of the 2 witnesses (Moses + Elijah?) who die during the first half of the Great Trib and the pagans rejoice...
7 When they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them and kill them.
8 And their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city which mystically is called Sodom and Egypt, where also their Lord was crucified.
9 Those from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb.
10 And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and celebrate; and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth.
The song is “Ding-Dong, The Witch Is Dead”. Not Ding-Ding.
Freakin Feminists can’t get anything right.
Not to look for an argument, but the devil has no such power.
Actually, our possession of our means to defend ourselves and our friends against them, with extreme prejudice, keeps them from launching this. If they ever manage to disarm us, look out.
I thought male witches were called WARLOCKS.
