GOP frontrunner Donald Trump says it was âpretty unusualâ that Justice Scalia â who passed away on Saturday â was found with a pillow over his face.

congress should ban pillows immediately. Then Obama and send out his SS to confiscate all
Pillows ( and anything else they find in your home).
Seems to me I read it here on FR as well. But no one could use that to bash Trump so it apparently doesn’t matter. The DTS is in full blown mode again.
While many people might sleep with a pillow over their face, in total percentages it is unusual. Doesn’t offer good oxygen exchange either for those who do.
Texas law was most likely violated by the judge who decided against an autopsy. Will anything happen to the judge? NO, there is almost no accountability for judges and lawyers in our system.
Scalia, was arguably the smartest and most conservative member of the Supreme Court. The timing of this is extremely suspicious. Unfortunately, like many of us he couldn’t turn down an attractive sounding free offer from a Democrat with inside connections. The ivory tower insulated him from the real world for too long and he didn’t recognize the danger of this or his unhealthy lifestyle choices.
Dumb question: Would a coroner have photographed the scene?...so the position of the pillow would be known with certainty?
I sleep with one on my head too.
Pulled down over my eyes. Never over my
nose or mouth (and Justice Scalia was WAY
smarter than I am).
D. Trump.....did your people look at the source of that tale? I am not liking what I see here D. Trump!
Yeah that was a stupid thing to have posted knowing that virtually everyone here has read just that over the past few days.
I don't have to. I am basing my statement on what John Poindexter himself said:
"We discovered the judge in bed, a pillow over his head."
That could mean EITHER a pillow covering his head or a pillow over his head...as in up against the headboard.
Trump's statement leaves no room for any other interpretation. And he made it based on NO ONE'S quote or statement previously made...only suppositions.
Your link to Bing only proves my point. NOTHING there says "pillow on his face".
Get it?
Pillow or not. WHY NO autopsy is the question in my mind.
You are correct, I retract my comment, and apologize.
But it seems awfully odd that Poindexter would have used that phrase, when it would be more normal to say that his head was on a pillow rather than the pillow was on his head.
Poindexter didn't put out a clarification until February 16 at 5:39.
I'm sure Trump was eventually updated.
Blame the damn media for not asking for not asking for a clarification at the time.
I know...it sells.
I simply will not repeat myself nor will I make any further attempt to educate anyone on the differences between what John Poindexter actually said and what Trump said...and apparently what more than a few people here believe. Post all the Google searches you all want. They only reinforce what I said originally in post #2. Belief has nothing to do with facts.
Simply read my post #28. I'm done.
It seems only "ilovesarah2012" is able to read and gets the point.
Try to keep on these stories before making an ignorant liberal of yourself.
I seriously doubt if someone strangled him with a pillow, they’d leave the pillow over his face. If in fact we’re talking about a hit on a SC Justice, he/she definitely wouldn’t be an amateur.
That's where the conspiracy lies....not in his death but in the media report.
Wonder if Obama called him and told him to wait to issue a clarification.
If you don't think someone called Obama FIRST, you're kidding yourself. There were 35 people at the "camp"....all friends of Poindexter and Scalia.
What makes it so good?
Thank you 'kara'.
Gee Whiz! I wish I had mentioned that. It seems so obvious. How could one possibly miss the distinction.
Sheesh.
Yeh no kidding Don. I picked right up on that too.
And your reading comprehension skills are on a par...or should I say 'sub par'...with AuntB's.
Read post #17 and then tell me how your assessment makes even a little bit of sense.
