Bernie Sanders is by far the more dangerous of the two Democratic candidates. We ignore him at our peril.

The good news is that Hillary is falling; the bad news is that Bernie is rising.

WOW ARE YOU RIGHT@!!!

if he wins, then we’re no longer a republic because a socialist, and probably communist will be in power.

they dont relinquish.

he spent his first 40 years not working and spewing violent vitriol at America and its values.

But I have a feeling putting up a trillion a year tax isn’t going to go over great.

but then with black, hispanice and under 30 punks, white single women under 40, and the fruits...one never knows.

if he wins and reparations are paid, i’m up for any response.

Hillary has bought all of the superdelegates. She is leaving nothing to chance this time around.

Bernie could win every Dem primary/caucus, and Hillary would still get the nomination. The “Super-Delegates” will makes sure of that.

Bernie is dangerous, but with him we would get to the collapse that much quicker and we can start rebuilding. So there’s that.

I think Clinton is more dangerous, but I can see why you’d think that.

She can lose many primaries, but the convention will choose Mrs. Bill.

It will say much more about the fecklessness, weakness, spinelessness, and stupidity of the GOP if either wins.

Agreed. Sanders is a bit like Obama, in the sense that they are true believers in radicalism. Bernie is just honest about it.

In saner times Sanders would be polling about as well as Barry Commoner did back in the day. But, we are over a generation removed from the Cold War, and “socialism” doesn’t carry the same hackle-raising implications for a lot of the younger folks as it should. IMHO, anyway.

I also have to admit that “free stuff” is a powerful lure. It’s never really free, and the cost is almost always far greater down the road for the next generation than if it had been paid for by the recipient up front. But it sounds good to people who want a piece of the pie, and are either unconcerned or too economically illiterate to understand what this “free stuff” is doing to undermine our country’s future.

We have GOT to get this election right.

Sanders will require you to smash him using a hammer while wearing satin gloves.

He isnt “unlikable” as a person, but he isnt young and nimble. One trip-up and he’s confused for a couple of weeks.

The trick is to keep tripping him up.

This has been my exact thought for a long time now. Those on our side like to believe that any of our candidates would be an absolute shoo-in to win against Bernie. I think we would most likely win against him, but I think it is very wrong to underestimate him in the way that the Clinton campaign did until recently. He gets huge crowds, he has young people excited about him like they were about Obama in '08, and unlikely as it is, there is always an outside chance that the Republican nominee's campaign could implode, leaving us with President Sanders.

I can't stand Hillary, but I would certainly rather have her as president than Bernie the Marxist. I personally would prefer Hillary to win the nomination as a precautionary measure to make 100% sure that Bernie will never get in power.
