I am seeing reports that Poindexter is a Obama supporter. Why was it necessary to say there was a pillow over his head??? Was it to stir everyone up???

“We discovered the judge in bed, a pillow over his head. His bedclothes were unwrinkled,” Texas millionaire John Poindexter told the San Antonio Express-News Sunday, describing how he found the 79-year-old jurist in the “El Presidente” suite at Poindexter’s 30,000-acre luxury ranch on Saturday.”

Throwing the question out to those, like me, who have traveled for work.

Why would anyone lie down in bed and place a pillow over their head?

Does anyone have use the pillow placement for in bed comfort?

I can see Scalia stacking some pillows so he could sit up in bed to read or watch TV. Then, after passing away and sliding down to a flat position, the top pillow tumbles down on his head?

I can see Scalia reading in bed, bothered by a light source. Could Scalia have used a small pillow as a visor, to block light streaming into his eyes?

The pillow info was given as innocent and natural, yet I never heard of such a thing

“I think there is something in his medical record that led them to believe his death may have been imminent. Also I think there was something there the family didn’t want made public.”

Your theory looks to be the closest. His wife was a conservative activist and he had nine kids, many, if not all, adults. If any of them suspected foul play, he or she would have demanded an autopsy. Absent that kind of a family demand, I don’t see how this can go anywhere.

Obama is just simply the luckiest president we have ever had. Fast and Furious - no wrong doing found, evidence lost. IRS - no wrong doing, evidence lost. Obamacare - A bill that could be renamed so it could be “deemed” passed on Christmas Eve to avoid a Fillibuster. Bengazi - no wrong doing here - It was just a tragedy but noboady is allowed to investigate or get testimony from the folks actually involved. Now the most rock solid sitting conservative SCJ suddenly dies in Obama’s last year and there is no need to investigate it because he was old.

I remember when the tin foil hat crowd used to tell us the government was spying on us. They used to say that our government was scheming with Cartels (Gun running). They used to clain the governmnent targeted citizens as enemies (IRS). They were right on a couple points.

I’m going to wait until more information comes out. I don’t know where all this information is coming from (pillow over the head, not a heart attack, no security, etc.) So I am going to withhold judgement. The Republicans need to make sure Obama does not Appoint the replacement SCJ in his lameduck year.

Obama would appoint Bernie Sanders.

His own doctor said he had multiple problems. So we can be pretty sure he was taking a bunch of meds. They talked to the doctor before declaring probable cause. In other words....there wasn't one damn suspicious thing...

He said he had a vigorous and long day and wanted to go to bed. God was kind to him and his family.

I tried to think what I would want if my father or husband were such an important Justice in American history. I would want the focus to be on his legacy- friends, family, and work - not that the had XYZ maladies. I wouldn’t want him all cut up for the casket viewing.

The problem is..the bungled circumstances in some podunk area has turned it into a murder mystery with the words “pillow on top of his head” forever linked to Scalia.

When the news broke, I posted that Gov Abbott should send in the Texas Rangers to oversee the scene. (Figuring any federal marshalls or FBI are going to be regime affiliates).

Having said that, Scalia was a chubby 79 yr old guy that also was a smoker. Sometimes your time is up.

When facts are undetermined, obscured, or actively shunned, conspiracy theories will abound.

The judge that signed off on the death certificate did so over the phone. For a high-profile person like this, that is the height of arrogant stupidity.

If poisoned, why not contact the barber in Dallas, the one who trimmed the hair of the Justice the week prior. He was visited spontaneously after Scalia’s speech at SMU. The two even lunched together at a local cafe.
Time to buy stock in Reynolds Wrap. If not for the many conflicting reports, this might have been hidden under the Gop-e DC Cabal carpet. As it now stands, the public is aware of the murders, corruption, and lies which stems from the uni-party and DC. It is suspicious only because it is suspicious given what we’ve been told. MFM =the voice of confusion and mis-information.

No. Don’t sleep with a pillow over my face. You cannot
get adequate oxygen into your body doing that. - Try to
not have many digital lights in the bedroom. Have a
couple of night lights you can flip on so you don’t
trip over the cat or dog on your way to the bathroom.
Keep a flashlight beside your bed & keep batteries in
it.

[I am thinking he was being poisoned.]

Let’s suppose that 0 was found dead in bed with a pillow over his head, there would be so many autopsies performed and forensic experts on the scene, they would be bumping into each other.

Even if he suffocated face down and clutching and biting the pillow.

perhaps. it’s very simple to do a blood test for the hormones always present in a heart attack. nothing evasive. turn this talk off right now.

Question: Fox reports that Scalia went to see his doctor on Wednesday and Thursday. If you had someone in your family aged 79 who had felt ill enough to see his doctor on consecutive days, would you have let them fly to one of the most remote area of the nation, hours away from a decent hospital, for a weekend of hunting? This makes no common sense…even without the pillow over his head and no one checking on him until 11:00 AM the next day.

I find it extremely unusual that a death would be ruled "natural causes" by some guy - not a doctor, OVER the PHONE, without an autopsy

Ditto.
