Donald Trump says a lot of things. We've become all too used to that now. Some of these things should probably be taken with a grain of salt - "Only Rosie O'Donnell" comes to mind - but some deserve to be analyzed more closely.

Thanks! Don't watch too much TV anymore. An ‘insufferable’ amount of propaganda there.

Amen to that!

If there was an opposition party it would keep the Senate in session continuously and not allow the Sultan to appoint a Justice temporarily or for real. A 5 leftist majority on the court can end the Republic and the Constitution in only a few short months. There are plenty of cases out there that the Court can accept, regardless of tradition, and many more that can be ginned up and rushed through the courts for a ratatattat series of decisions like that the 2nd Amendment requires the confiscation of all firearms not in the hands of Government, that the First Amendment implies exclusion of speech that is unfavorable to the government, etc.For that matter the Court can rule that the amendment limiting the President to two terms is unConstitutional. Who is to say them nay? the Republicass? It is to laugh.

Pryor is the guy who went after Roy Moore. Not a good recommendation.

Thank you! Would like to see an impartial review on the decisions they have made.

It is open season on Christians and the removal of some of our past. Never thought we would see what is happening in America!!!

Thanks for the information.

During the Republican debate on Saturday night, Donald Trump floated two names as potential nominees to the U.S. Supreme Court: Judge Diane S. Sykes and Judge Bill Pryor.

Just read this on another thread if you missed it.

http://www.businessinsider.com/who-are-diane-sykes-and-bill-pryor-trump-scalia-2016-2

Diane Sykes and Bill Pryor. Not sure about any of their rulings but first glance look good.

Thanks for taking the time to return from time to time and reply!

Seriously it is appreciated.

Would you have any opinions or information re: these potentials.

Think it was posted above (#84) Pryor went after Judge Roy Moore. Not sure he really wanted to, or HAD to, seems we can only rely on the actions or past history. Would he make decisions in the vein of his past actions or would he be ‘fluid’?

Personally, would want a TRUE (caps for emphasis) conservative with strong beliefs in adherence to the Constitution, who takes the oath of office seriously

and not one, like others who have ‘grown’, usually to the left
(cannot recall any candidate after in office who leaned RIGHT!! Do not know why that is, can guess)
upon confirmation?

I think Sykes looks the best. As soon as Trump takes office the senate should decide that the SCOTUS needs to be expanded to 11 and then appoint two more conservatives. Young ones.

Do not know anything about her. Have been out of circulation informational wise for awhile.

In a “I know nothing” mode. Need to start some background on some of the one mentioned.

If you happen to come across something you would consider pertinent would appreciate a ‘ping’..........just hope it doesn’t hurt!!! :)

Thanks ‘Miss’ Georgia Girl

Just a side note:
Have a good friend who live in Johns Creek, think it’s a part of Atlanta? Thinking of visiting her maybe this summer.

Someone said the traffic is worse than Florida not sure that would be good.

Nice Lady.

Thanks again.

Have a 40’ motor home and driving in heavy traffic is not conducive to a relaxing trip!!!

Thanks!!!!!!!!

Would probably win BIG if he did!!!

Just posted this on another thread but.........

“”truthful hyperbole.” He both defends and praises it as “an innocent form of exaggeration...””

Sometime, think I woke up in an alternate universe where the election is a “Cele-bratty Reality Contest Election” all we are missing is ‘Kanneey Westl’(sp) and seem to have heard a rumor, that he is considering it.
