Donald Trump was so awful, so horrible, so disgusting in the latest Republican debate — his lies, his distortions, his deceits, and his libels thicker and fouler than they’ve yet been—that he’s done us all a favor. If he wins easily in South Carolina after his monstrous turn, he’ll be going straight to the Republican nomination.
Such a victory in a classically conservative state like South Carolina after his romp in idiosyncratic New Hampshire will prove Trump’s repellent personality is the real key to his success. You want me to delineate his dishonesties? That would be like asking me to count how many breaths he took.
We will not be able to labor under any delusions after a win comparable to his triumph in New Hampshire. We will know for a certainty that the man Republicans want for their tribune in 2016 is a disgusting jerk they somehow believe will have their backs when the only back he’s ever had is his own

You know, I think it is absolutely disgracal for to criticize a proud brother, a private citizen who held no political office or running for one, to say his sister, a newly-appointed judge, would make a great S/C justice. What is the matter with you, anyway? There are concerns with Donald Trump, as with all of the candidates, including Cruz. Why don’t you talk about those instead of this silly thing. We need to look at those real issues with each candidate and discuss them. And I do think electability is an issue. We should support a good candidate, which is Donald Trump who is resonates with people from all walks of life, rather than an ideologically more pure candidate who has less chance of winning, and far less chance of accomplishing anything if elected. Remember Nixon? He won by a huge landslide, but he did not resonate with the people, he did not have coattails; people just feared McGovern, they did not like Nixon. So just a few years later, Nixon, a staunch anticommunist who was winning in Vietnam, was driven from the office by the leftist media with their incessant babble about Watergate. I can guarantee you, if, Cruz was elected simply because Hillary is such an awful candidate, the press will find some nonsense issue such as Watergate and destroy him with it. Trump, like Reagan, resonates. Trump will have coattails, and best of all the press cannot destroy him just as they could not destroy Reagan. This is obvious for no other reason because of how people look at the debates, and how stacked they are against Trump. No matter how good the other candidates may conduct themselves, no matter how mediocre Trump’s performance, in the minds of the people, Trump won!
