Shortly after news broke that Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia had passed many started speculating who his successor would be if President Barack Obama were to nominate the next Supreme Court Justice.
One name floated frequently was Sri Srinivasan, who The New Yorker described as "the nominee in waiting."

Makes sense. Why would Obama nominate an American to the Supreme Court?
“... Gore woulda been president if we didnât have 5 votes on the court ...”
Actually, that vote was 7-2 (not 5-4).
Hindi is a language. Or more correctly, it's an adjective, meaning "Indian", and a substantive when used to mean the principal language of the Subcontinent.
You’re welcome.
And .. I think the expertise Cruz has acquired by arguing before the Supreme Court will also give Cruz an upper hand in questioning any Supreme nominee.
I don’t know his politics but he comes from a pretty smart family.

He’s married
If Obama succeeds in installing one of his operatives to the Supreme Court, we can all kiss our second amendment rights GOODBYE.
Yawn. 2nd Amendment is inherent God given right. These supreme court jesters can declare gravity illegal too. Bring it. They will know fear. Guaranteed.

And here he is.....this is our next Supreme Court Just-Us.
Is he a poofter?
The majority religion in this country is Protestant. Yet, there is not one Protestant on the Supreme Court!
I agree.
Damn.
The Stanford educated potential nominee received his bachelor degree, law degree and J.D. from California school. While Srinivasan was born in Chandigarh, India he grew up in Lawrence, Kansas, according to The White House.
Color me ever so disappointed. We need another homosexual on the Court. Never mind a "Jewish seat" or a "black seat" -- from now on, we need nine solid "No Polar Bears"/"No Breeders"/"No Christians" Justices to dispense revolutionary justice by firing squad.
Lawrence little commieville Ks.
Spent four years there at KU. Rock Chalk, Jayhawk.
From your link:
Kallon's family moved to the United States from from Sierra Leone in 1980 when he was 11 years old. He was raised by a single mother.
A lot of his recommendations and support statements look sketchy. He was clerking for a U.S. District Court judge until that judge retired in 2009; Obama apparently appointed the clerk to the judge's position in 2010, when he was 41 years old. Talk about affirmative action ....
Oh, yeah -- that's another reason to appoint him to the appellate bench. Affirmative action, and fairness, and putting popeyed bastard immigrants of color on the U.S. bench.
I sense a tendency at work here.
FWIW both Alabama's U.S. Senators are on the record already as opposing this guy's nomination.
