This campaign was always about citizenship—taking back our country from a political class that only serves the big, the powerful, the wealthy, and the well connected. Election after election, the same empty promises are made and the same poll-tested stump speeches are given, but nothing changes. I've said throughout this campaign that I will not sit down and be quiet. I'm not going to start now. While I suspend my candidacy today, I will continue to travel this country and fight for those Americans who refuse to settle for the way things are and a status quo that no longer works for them.

that being said, I'm glad the field is getting smaller, and it is time for Dr. Carson, Jeb, and that old timer , Gilmore...he is a joke...what a waste, glad the MSM totally ignores him, he really is just another American. His vote will count, but he will not gather votes...

I didn’t think she was prepared to be POTUS, but she is an asset to the Republican party. I’ll bet that the eventual nominee can find a job for her in the cabinet.

I think you didn’t actually watch any of the debates. Carly carried way more of the heavy stuff than Trump and Bush combined. She had good answers to a lot of wonkish type issues.

That's it exactly. It's tempting to see establishment candidates like Christie and Carly humiliated, but if our goal is to nominate an anti-establishment candidate (Trump or Cruz) we want there to be as many establishment candidates in the race for as long as possible. Christie and Carly's departure just means more votes for Jeb and Rubio.

She was articulate and well versed on the issues. I would like to see people of her caliber in some government position of authority where she can do some good..

She was a “professional female”; not that she was a competent executive or had any professional accomplishments, but a token “female”. She was involved with a lot of “girl-power” crap that pressured companies to advance tokens instead of qualified “privileged” men.
