As much as I love Cruz as a conservative, there really is a voter rebellion underway and it may be unstoppable. Despite all the denials, the simple truth is the voters really are fed-up and really are up in arms against the establishment.
Trump's message is exactly what the voters are looking for:
Build the wall, enforce the law, deport them all, slap a moratorium on Muslim immigration, bomb the hell out of ISIS, cut the taxes, cut the spending, cut the regulations, cut the government, cut the bad trade deals, cut the political correctness crap, bring back capital, bring back manufacturing, bring back jobs, get the economy back on track, rebuild the military so no one messes with us and make America great again!
It's a winning message.
The rallies are real.
The pent up anger is real.
The rebellion is real!
GOPe RINOs Bush, Rubio, Kasich, et al, stand no chance whatsoever.
We still have hope for conservative Cruz to pull it out, but this is Trump's Rebellion to lose.
Go, Cruz, GO!!

Do you really believe the liberal establishment wants ANY Republican to win and if we only choose someone other than Trump, they will be fair and nice? History proves otherwise! They are going to slaughter the GOP nominee, no matter who it is.
At least with Trump, if we lose, we will go down fighting!!

And i'm pretty sure they would be just as kind to Cruz if he were in the lead.
We've been saying for...what, 200+ years? that our Founding Fathers called for citizen politicians who served for a few years then went back home.
That kind of person, by definition, will have no track record. Before he announced for President Trump was, to use terminology from The Godfather, a civilian.

There is NOW a ROMNEY super pac putting out all the stops to take Trump out!!!! They support NO other candidate their SOLE OBJECTIVE is to take Trump out!!!! They are FLOODING SC with negative ads against Trump, say they succeeded in Iowa and will do so in SC!!!! These BASTARDS don’t GIVE A DAMN what the people want and the people are BEYOND ANGRY!!! The STILL don’t get it!!!!

However...
Some of you on this thread speak about distrusting Trump....I’ve been reading the comments
If Trump didn’t take this on with his full intention to make America great again....because he loves his country
...what other reason is there?
Power?....he has that
Prestige?....has that too
Money?....rolling in it
Truly.....why would anyone .....especially someone like him who doesn’t need to....
Take on 24/7 abuse by media.....( even here at FR)
....loss of friends who disagree with his positions
.....loss of respect by many
.....endless travel, endless speeches, endless promotion
Daily he has to prove himself over and over...
Do you really think he is in this for the fun?
Or could it be he has glimpsed into the future and is terrified for our nation and ......on some level, even Biblical....’Here am I, send me’.....and he means it
And he runs into the battle.....and his wonderful, articulate, gracious children run in with him....
..because they love him
And still some say ...even here....they doubt him....they don’t believe him.....or...he needs Cruz for completion
As far as I’m concerned Trump alone is standing in the gap for us!
And I am humbled someone of his grit, determination and integrity is.
He wants to take care of us
He wants to keep us safe
He expresses great love and respect for our law enforcement.....our Vets....our military
Many here give Ted Cruz your support
We wouldn’t even be talking about the Wall..or Muslims.....or strong measures of security if not fot Trump!

Yes, he’s for the ability to shop across state lines, take advantage of free enterprise and open market, and personal HSA accounts. All great ideas.
The way I see it is a race between non-politician and politician.
Trump has trumped conservatism. He’s made it bigger than that.
I am a Cruz supporter because I believe he would do what Trump would do, but also handle social issues which have deteriorated this country drastically.
However what I am starting to realize is social issues don’t mean squat when you can’t stop the influx of illegals, the destruction of our monetary system and get us back to a point of credibility. Trump is the only candidate out there that has a chance.
But Trump still has to take into consideration, if he is the nominee, some conservatives will stay home. Hope Trump has enough rebellious voters to make up for it.
